For the last three years I have been a student aid for the High School Athletic Director at my school. I'm intrigued by athletics and I'm passionate about being particularly organized. I found delight in spending an hour every day doing tasks to help out the Athletic Program. Aimlessly, I was learning skills that I hope to carry on for the rest of my life. The Athletic Director that I have been helping suggested that one day I should become an Athletic Director myself. At that moment, it all came together for me. I realized that what I have been enjoying everyday for the past three years of my life, is what I want to pursue in and continue doing. I believe in finding a career that you are so fond upon it doesn't ever seem like a job. I aim to take that much pleasure in being an athletic director. One of my all time favorite quotes is from Mahatma Gandhi. Gandhi said, “be the change you want to see in the world.” That is my lifelong goal. To be the change I want to see in the world. One person can make a difference if they put in the effort to do so. I plan to execute my set goal by pushing myself daily to simply have a good day. Giving out compliments to others, hoping to brighten their day. People fail to do so many simple things in life that can make dramatic changes.
