Introduction
Mac developed a strategy on how they market their products, by utilizing famous artist and singers to maintain their customers (www.maccosmetics.com). Sales of makeup build up dreams and inspire their consumers to look their best with skillful techniques and application of cosmetic products. The strategy has always been to provide cosmetics to all ages, races and gender that is their creed. M.A.C. cosmetics focused on a main strategy not a generic strategy to align with organizations long-term plan. M.A.C. identified its best values discipline and how it l relates to a grand strategy (Pearce, 2013).
Through its innovative strategy in artistry, it continued to maintain its earning capacity and sustain its competitive edge. It is noted that M.A.C Cosmetics branded its entity and launched a creatively new program ViVA Glam to regain its momentum in the cosmetic industry (www.maccosmetics.com). Identify the Best Value Discipline
A successful company has been built on a strong foundation and may have adopted the t value discipline concepts.. The value disciplines concepts are operational, excellence, product leadership and customer sensitive. The organization in the value disciple of operational excellence has devoted himself or herself to provide the best value products. Customer sensitivity is what an organization may adapt to provides customers with specific items (Pearce, 2013). Product leadership is committed to the consumer by supplying an endless amount of trendy products and services (Pearce, 2013). M.A.C Cosmetics have adopted the product leadership of the three best value disciplines.
