In William Bryant's "To a Waterfowl," he looks to a waterfowl for guidance. The bird guided Bryant but God guided the bird. In life, a leader tends to be the follower of another leader. This relationship between a follower and a leader corresponds to everyone's life. In other words, every soul in existence has looked to someone or something for guidance.
