I recently took a trip to a pumpkin patch in my hometown. It is located off the main highway in a secluded field surrounded by enormous Douglas Firs and various scattered Maple trees. The pumpkin patch is owned by a gentle, older couple whom you will often find wandering around the patch helping when needed. My trip not only provided me with a pumpkin, it also reminded me of the simple beauties of life.…

Grandma Calls out “Dinners ready” and before you know it the dinner table is engulfed with all my siblings and of course papa. We all sit eager as ever, anticipating thinking and imagining how good the turkey is going to be this year. Everyone’s engaged in one another, talking joking and laughing around the table. It’s about as good as any Thanksgiving dinner can get, but as soon as grandma cracks open the oven the aroma of the freshly seasoned and cooked turkey floods the kitchen. It’s as silent as the nights whistle. She brings the comestible around with the help of Uncle Richard, as grandma is getting far too fragile and weak to do anything on her own anymore. We as family agreed her cooking skills are far too superior a thing to allow to go to waste. So whenever the opportunity arises, one of us is always helping grandma. Uncle Richard proceeds to slice the turkey ever so graciously making everyone at table froth at the…

You see, there is a main road the has a small gravel road come off of it, my Mom turned the car to branch off onto the gravel road, when a drunk driving a volunteer fire truck slammed into the side of our van - the side I was sitting in. Our van flipped into a ditch on the side of the road, and the truck was hardly damaged, I guess the gate openers on the front of the tuck helped. my Mom started getting really scared that the van would blow up. Se pushed herself out of the car, and got my sister and I out of the car. My sister had a gashed knee, and I had a cut neck…

This holiday is no ordinary holiday; it was a holiday from hell. So let me tell you about these dreadful few weeks. I was on a nice peaceful holiday by myself, going fishing every morning whilst drinking Crown Lager. Then I came across a fish. It looked like some sort of three eyed creature. Now this three eyed creature was so unusual. It looked like the one you often see in the Simpsons but instead the colour was white. Just white, no other colours except white.…

It was a wonderful memorable location. My grandparents' house is in Suphan Buri, one of the western Provinces in Thailand. The house is traditional Thai style, surrounded by a corn and rice farms: for that reason, a fresh breeze was always blowing. There is a beautiful flower garden and a cute back yard with some fruit trees and some of my aunt’s chicks and chickens. The view from all of the windows which included the backyard and a farm was marvelous. My sisters and I could see the sunrise from the front yard very clearly.…
