The Unspoken – Alivia Mercer

As I close my eyes I shiver from the dark. I am not scared of it; I am scared of what’s in it. I close my eyes and hear a sound and I blast my eyes wide open. I know it’s nothing, but what if it is. As I fall asleep the wind creeps into my room. The glowing of the moon hits my eyes and I wake up. The clamor of noise drew me out of bed as the biting wind blew at my toes. I looked out my window and saw a creeping shadow and shiver crawled up my back. What could it be I thought? I froze, not knowing what to do; I couldn’t move. I watched as the shadow appeared to come closer whispering my name “Alexis, Alexis.” I finally realized I forgot to breathe. The Shadow lurked me out of my room and out my window. The shadow

They whisper to me “We are the Unspoken, we feel no, we see no.” Voices in my head spin around and around murmuring things I refuse to know. “You will become one of us” they confess to me. A shiver goes through my body. I can no longer feel my toes or any nerve in my body. My legs jiggle as if they are about to collapse. “You will become one of us”? What does that mean I think to …show more content…
I reach the end and my eyes no longer adjust to the light. It had felt like the sun was right in front of me. The shadow leads me into a room, a room I could see. A man sits in a chair, as red as could be. He tells me “Welcome to the Underworld, we have awaited you. This is now your home.” I try to move but I was stuck as if my feet have been glued to the ground. “Let me go” I yell but nothing comes out. My voice, gone. I try to scream but all that comes out is air. “You will get you voice later on, I am the devil I now control you.” He searched through his desk, taking out a strange object. He directed a ghost into his direction and gave it an object. My body tensed as he opened a jar and my body felt as if everything was being captured. I collapsed to the ground with no energy left. The Unspoken led me into another room and shoved me in for me to be left in there to

Two shadows emerge from a dark bedroom like bears coming out of hibernation. They move into the kitchen, and the moon casts lights and shadows into the room, illuminating everything. The silhouettes are holding hands, and they huddle close to each other. Tears have stained their cheeks, and both of their hair is matted down with mud and leaves. One shadow has a soft, slender figure that could only belong to a female.…

I tried to open my eyes but all I could see was darkness. All around me darkness sits, still and quiet. I heard a creak, then a minuscule and weak voice talked, “Sydney, are you alright?” “Mmm” was all I could get out of my weak and tired body. Then the voice talked to me again, “Sydney, this is Dad speaking. The doctor just told me that the impact of you hitting the seat in front of you was very hard, it blinded you for life.” Darkness grabbed me, never letting me be perky and happy again…

My body shoots up suddenly and vomit arises from throat. My head is pounding. It feels like it’s banging against the window of a moving bus. It’s an earthquake. I rush to the bathroom, chunks spewing out of my mouth as I run. I hear a creak. My mind registers another presence in the room. I am afraid. I slowly turn my head cautiously, my face frozen is fear, eyes widening as I take in the figure before me. "Beth" I whisper…

Her family beginning to raise their arms, pointing down into the deep dark basement. Now, shivers down her spine, Mona walks toward the basement door, trying to see what they are pointing to. There’s an overwhelming sense of fear. It is as if there were eyes watching me. I begin to get out of the bed. I’m going to open the closet but I don’t want to. I know something bad is going to happen. But I open the door and there’s nothing, but it’s too dark to actually see anything. I lean further into the closet. It’s colder in the closet than in the room. I feel a hand pull my hand off the knob and drag me further in. I fall and I keep falling. I don’t stop falling till I wake up, and it gets colder as I fall. I feel my blood freeze in my veins. It's like the dream’s…
