Thor Lund: Student Body President Report
Before earning his bachelor of science in mechanical engineering with a minor in business from the University of Texas at Austin (UT Dallas), Thor Lund served a year as the UT Dallas student body president. As student body president, he was the voice of more than 52,000 graduate and undergraduate UT Dallas students before University Administration and Board of Regents. Thor Lund also represented student body interests in front of the Texas Legislature.

In 2011, Mr. Lund tutored fellow UT Dallas students in thermodynamics and chemistry as part of the Equal Opportunity in Engineering Program. In the summer of 2010, he led a helicopter missile simulation team at the Universidad Nacional de Córdoba in Argentina. This experience allowed Mr. Lund
