Interviewees

The interviews will take place on site with the following key personnel:
1. Dominic O Keeffe – Director of Student Services – Centre Manager, Dominic has been with the organisation since 1990 and has been the main contact for student services, the reason for choosing Dominic is to give an overall view of the business strategy and what are the future plans for the organisation.
2. Grace Connolly – Operations Manager, Grace has been working for UCD for 15 years and has been the main contact for the development of the UCD Sport & Fitness complex. Grace is the main contact for the day to day running of the organisation and the reason for selecting Grace is to see if the day to day running of the organisation is assisting in achieving the overall business strategy and does Grace drive the development of the employees to achieve these goals. Grace will be the main contact for vital information such as staff numbers, staff retention strategy, retention stats and Grace will also be the contact for the Gym and the

Conor Maloney – Aquatics coordinator, Conor is the aquatics coordinator and is currently managing the pool staff and would have 4 years of experience managing people, the reason for selecting Conor is to see what his goals are within the organisation and do they match the overall business strategy, the discussion with Conor will be what strategies he has in place for staff development and staff retention and does Conor believe that the talent management strategies he has implemented are effective.

The structure of the interviews will be a sit down meeting lasting about 20 – 30 minutes, it will questions and answers and the goal is to identify if talent management strategies are in place to increase staff performance and retention and do these strategies coincide with the overall business strategy of the organisation.
