Maintaining relationship: In health and social care we maintain and good healthy and friendly relationship with the service user their family and other professionals by showing a supportive approach, making the client feel comfortable and secure and rely on what they have said and rely on you a smile or other non verbal communication.
Expressing feelings, wishes, needs
and preferences: In health and social care the main role is for the staff to be able to have ways for the client to be able to talk and show how their feels, wishes and needs as people can become very isolated and frustrated.
Sharing and showing thoughts, ideas and obtaining and sharing information: In health and social care staff and other professionals need to be able to share and receive ideas so everyone involved in the care has been informed fully and correctly.
Receiving and giving of support: In health and social care is important for the client and or their family and staff when they have built on their own self confidence from other staff members. This can come in the form of staff meetings, appraisals with support and reassurance and acknowledge others for the staff and using good and positive productive touch and praising on effort and all achievements how big or small.
