 Building relationship: This is a vital role in the health and social care sector as with this first form of communication is important to build a relationship. It can be verbal or non verbal communication skills by making your first impression it needs to be good and professional by either a hand shake, good eye contact, smile and just being friendly and warm welcome.
 Maintaining relationship: In health and social care we maintain and good healthy and friendly relationship with the service user their family and other professionals by showing a supportive approach, making the client feel comfortable and secure and rely on what they have said and rely on you a smile or other non verbal communication.
