Well Baby Monologue
Well baby, its been a year. A fun one, at that....When I first met you I never imagined that this would happen. At first I was almost jealous of Adrianna. She had such a cute and loving guy at her side that she seemed to take for granted. I couldnt believe that she wasn't head over heels for you....because I was. I started noticing how much we had in common and I found it excited but saddening at the same time. Because, I felt that there was no possible way a guy like you could ever love a girl like me. I looked back at you. And waited for those words, which came out nervously. "Would you want to go out with me?"
Holy shit. Okay, Adelin. Breathe, dont you dare pass out and ruin this moment for your self. Say yes! But not too fast, dont let him know your this excited. He might think your desperate.
My mind was going a million miles a minute and I couldn't say yes, because of the fear that this was some sort of joke. Instead I said, "give me a few minutes to think about it." After those words came out of my mouth I wanted to smack myself across the face. You IDIOT. You probably just scared him off, or he probably thinks you rejected him.
You seemed so calm about it though, you said okay, and continued to talk to me. A little more personal this time. Told me things about yourself that I hadn't known before, and the whole time you told me these things, I just kept thinking.
