Napoleon changed the educational system by letting everyone go to school instead of being like the king who only letting the privileged kids go to school. He created a primary and secondary school system. He focused on maths and military so that after he dies France could use these things that they learned for good reason and to make the country better.

The code meant that privileged was based on birth, it allowed freedom of religion which meant that you could be any religion and you wouldn't get arrested for your religion or even get killed because in the past people used to get killed for not being the same religion as the church, and he also made sure that the code said that the governments officials weren't in job because of who they were, people should have the government jobs only if they were qualified for the job. Some of the strong European countries still use this code because it helps you keep order in the government.

Great leaders keep lines of communication open with their subordinate leaders and soldiers so situations can be understood and missions can be properly carried out. If changes to the plan or unanticipated conditions occur, great leaders will have contingency plans ready to go. They also take notes on what happens before, during, and after training/missions so they know what to improve in the future. In whatever actions are taken, there is always room for improvement, so great leaders are always ready to take constructive criticism and prepare for the next time they need to be in charge. They are always respectful of their soldiers and have the trust that their soldiers can properly and successfully carry out tasks at hand. Great leaders have ambition to achieve whatever goals are set for their group, and know realistically what groups can accomplish. They know the importance of timeliness and order, as well as self-discipline. Great leaders are appreciated in the Army because without them, tasks would not be done to the standard that we have set. In order to accomplish anything, there needs to be a drive and a will to achieve – great leaders are able to motivate their soldiers and keep them organized while tasks are completed. If a group is motivated about their task, they will perform better and get done quicker – motivated groups are more efficient. By following the Orders Process, great…

He also revised the military’s methods. When French nobles rebelled in the Fronde revolution (Bernier P.3), he and Cardinal Mazarin suppressed and reduced the power of the noble class, thus restoring the power to the throne of the King. Consequently, many people fled France due to his revised laws and methods of military, economy, and religion.…

My Grandfather, George Washington, and Mark Messier are all outstanding leaders. They all put others before themselves and looked at the greater picture in all cases. They all knew that for the life they wanted they would have to work with others and sometimes do things they did not want to do. In addition to this, all these people worked hard, and that is a major quality in being a great leader. Sitting back and relaxing, was not going to be enough. They had to bust their butts to get where they are and be the people they wanted to be. If my grandfather did not work as hard as he did, he would still be living in a little shack, where the bathroom was actually in the kitchen. If George Washington did work like he did, this country wouldn’t be where it is today, and if Mark Messier did not work in practices and games, his skill would have needed got where it need to be. Lastly, these three people all led by example. They did and showed what had to be done, so their followers would want to be just like them. There are so many other words that could be used to describe these people for example, inspiring, honest, confident, committed, and creative, but hardworking, leading by example and putting others in front of themselves, stood out to me as great ones, that each of these people highlighted traits…

George Washington I find George Washington to be a fantastic leader. In class, he was briefly mentioned, yet we learned enough to gain my interest. I was fascinated at the fact that he was the only president to not have a degree yet such a great leader at such a young age which lead me to do a little more research of my own. George Washington assumed a great deal of leadership quite early in his life. Specifically, he was a leader of the Revolutionary Army at an incredibly young age.…

Poor working conditions have been present for centuries. Often times little or nothing is done unless a tragedy occurs to persuade the public to rally for worker rights. This was definitely the case in the United States during the Industrial Revolution and even late in the 20th Century. These conditions have for most purposes disappeared in the United States, with the exception of some in the agricultural sector. However, internationally, mainly in poor third world countries, that is far from the truth. Large corporations from the United States have moved a large portion of their factories overseas to circumvent the strict working regulations within the United States. The third world countries such as Vietnam, China, South Korea, and Taiwan provide access to readily abundant cheap labour. These corporations could now…
