People have many different views on what a hero is. Some people’s heroes include Superman or fictional characters while others involve their family members or friends. When I think of a hero I think of someone who is strong, intelligent, and daring. Many children have fictional heroes, because they take on such great tasks and goals. They also endure much resistance, hardship, and danger. Often the hero learns valuable lessons about survival and self-reliance. There are many examples of heroes in our modern day world. Some heroes are the brave, courageous, and valiant men and women that serve in our military. There are people that are just like you and I. They do not have any extraordinary superpowers besides an unwavering sense of duty towards this country and the people that inhabit it. Some heroes challenge their lives everyday.
Another common place to find a hero is at the police station. These heroes are just like our soldiers except they fight their battles in our every day streets. They sit in their car everyday almost all day to find the criminals in our world. They make our country a better place to live in. Some risk their lives fighting off people. They do not have superhuman abilities but they still get their job done in protecting our nation. These heroes we call policemen may have children at home and they risk their life everyday going to work to make sure we live a safe life. |Heroes can be your teacher at school. They can teach you to read or write and that will make a huge difference in your life. But most of the time that will go unappreciated during your lifetime until your older and start to reflecting on your life. You will sit back and think that without your teacher that taught you how to read you would of never been able to get a job or go to college. These are the heroes that are overlooked everyday and deserve recognition,
Heroes are just common people that have the courage to solve a problem, that they see in
