What Was The Causes Of The Civil War
The civil war officially began on April 12, 1861.There were many causes of the civil war, including differences believe about slavery between northern and southern states. During the civil war Union and Confederacy have their own advantages and strategy. The Union has almost all the naval power and shipyards belonged to the North. President Abe was a great leader. The had huge advantages in manpower and resources, the North had about 22,000,000 people. 85% of the nation's factories were located in the north. The north had double the railroad mileage. They also have the slave to help. President ask slave to join the Union army if they want to be free. When slave joint the union it double the size of union army.
