Her husband Zeus was always in an affair with another woman, which would make Hera a very jealous wife. She is known to take most her anger out on the children of Zeus and the women who he has been in affairs with, but not him. One of the most famous stories of Hera’s jealousy is when she wants to kill Hercules who is the child of Zeus and another women he had been in an affair with. Hera sent snakes to strangle Hercules when he was only a few days old. Hercules, who is now known for his strength strangled the snakes instead ("STORIES OF HERA 1 : Greek Mythology."). That wasn’t the last time Hera tried to kill Hercules. She made Hercules go insane which made him killed his children and wife. There was one myth about Hera, for once, taking her anger out on Zeus. Hera drugged Zeus and tied him to a couch. Next, Hera and the others gods who were helping could not decide what to do. Briareus who was once saved by Zeus, saw he was tied down to the couch and also saw the Gods were distracted from arguing. Briareus untied the knots that held Zeus down, Zeus awakened and quickly reached for his thunderbolt ("Hera.").
