Why Do School Lunches: Helpful Or Harmful?

Ding-Ding-Ding! I get up from the desk with urgency for lunch. Suddenly everything comes to a halt as something clicks in my head. As I stroll down the hallway with its appealing appearance, I can’t help but to realize that the food is homogeneous. This is just one the factors that contribute to the school’s downfall. Although the school has a good reputation, it carries a luggage that can be improved and resolved. This includes the following: absence of fine savory food, the presence of unsanitary restrooms, and the students’ perspective about school. One of the major concerns in school is the absence of fine savory food. Lunch periods are filled with students who crave for food every day. The number of food options in the lunch lines are outweighed by the students.

The students don’t consume lunch on a regular basis because of the food that is being served. Furthermore, some students have to pay on an average $3 per lunch per student. The charge of the school lunch isn’t comparable to the quality of it. Statistics show the charges of lunches varied throughout the U.S.

Students are being charged for a small amount of food that doesn’t complete and fulfill the satisfaction that they look for when eating their lunch. Another major concern in school is the presence of unsanitary restrooms. The school’s restrooms are being utilized every second but are not being taken care of nor left in good conditions at the end of the day.
