And he knew that. Mars knew that it wasn't nice to steal all of Earth’s water. Mars could’ve asked for some not all. He could’ve shared with him. All of Earth’s life on him was all harmed (Danuser 2). All of the animals were dead, and all the plants were burned beyond regrowth (Danuser 2). If Mars would have known to be fair, he would have also known don’t hate others to get what you want.
Earth started to hate Mars. “Mars was flying around when a huge rock flew past him. He thought it was just a coincidence, and kept on flying through the Milky Way. Days later, another rock flew past him; he didn’t take any notice. Many rocks flew past every month, but he took no notice at all (Danuser 1). Finally, many millennia later Mars aligned with Earth. ‘Yes, but you stole my water’ Earth yelled back.
‘I will not give the water back. I don’t care what you do to me’ argued Mars.
‘Then I will destroy you and all of the living things on you’ Earth yelled” (Danuser 2). They hated each other so much that they started to physically hurt themselfs. Mars was selfish and greedy. The water made him that way. The water created a never ending battle again. This had happened before. Mars had stolen from another planet; stole all the water and life, just like he had done to Earth. This is why it became an endless cycle of hate.
Hate is an easy emotion to experience. In Danuser’s story, even mighty planets experience it. However, if they learned to share, learned to be fair, and learned to not hate others so you can get what you want, shooting stars wouldn’t be here today. Being greedy and selfish is not the way to go in life. Even though the two planets learned this story, what if all of the people on the planets learned it
