Argumentative Essay On Life On Mars
Life on Mars? In our lifetimes, the average human will not be able to leave Earth and explore the galaxies beyond our own. We are stuck here unless we go through rigorous training and exercises, and even then we still might not be able to travel through space and explore new planets. A planet that scientists have been heavily studying is Mars mostly because they have found that there was once life on Mars. The facts lie within science, but has the government been lying about life on Mars this whole time? Is there already human inhabitants on Mars creating a second Earth for when Earth is completely depleted of natural resources? Mars is the only planet in our Solar System, other than Earth, that can withhold life on the surface according to NASA. The theory started once NASA discovered the presence of water. Since the …show more content…

Many people believe that there could possibly be aliens living on Mars, or even that the United States government knows more about Mars than they want us to believe. The leading evidence that aliens could have inhabited Mars is the “Face of Mars”. The face is a large pyramid-like rock sculpture that have similar features of a human face. NASA has claimed for years that the face has no significance to finding life on mars, and that the face doesn’t even truly exist, nor will they even send rovers over to investigate the face further. An author, Richard Hoagland, investigated data released from NASA about the face. He claims that all of the features of the face are far too symmetrical to just be a coincidence. They studied all of the photo evidence of the face, and concluded that there is no other possible explanation other than aliens building the face. To this day, NASA has dismissed the idea of aliens building the face, and aliens ever inhabiting Mars in

He uses straw man arguments about data doctoring to distract you from the obvious: The modern pictures don’t show a face. Hoagland begs the question throughout his entire website: The diagrams and data he presents is not peer reviewed nor accepted by the mainstream scientific community. His “proof” requires as much proof as his face on Mars theory does! Hoagland poisons the well by decrying the secretive and deceptive practices of the space agencies, and then presses forward with his version of the truth.…

Some scientists believe there was life on Mars due to a number of factors. For one we know there was at one point a substantial amount of liquid water when the planet was much younger. We also know Mars’s electromagnetic field has dampened, making it more susceptible to interstellar heat and radiation, thus eliminating the life that could have existed. There are also other several factors including volcanic activity and evidence of salt oceans.…

I really liked pictures and cameras so I would like to look at pictures of Mars and wondered what it would be like to take pictures of Mars. My dad worked as a camera engineer for HP at the time, so I got a lot of exposer to taking pictures with the test cameras and figuring out how they operated. This article relates class because we have been learning about the elements the planets are made of. Implications can lead uniformed people to think that the environment on mars is possible for life, however, Mars has a very extreme environment and lacks a thicker atmosphere for life to be sustained. I do not know enough about Mars to dispute any of the points in the article, however I thought it was cool that NASA is researching the possibility of life on Mars. I wonder if there are any other planets like Mars. What would Mars look like if it currently had life? Why do people feel lonely about the possibility that we are the only…

Pros And Cons Of Area 51

Head of NASA, Charles Bolden states that extra-terrestrial life must exist, but there is none hidden in Area 51. Area 51 is a site in the Nevada desert of America that tests aircraft and weapon technology such as the U-2 spy plane. Countless conspiracy theories have derived from Area 51 due to the secretiveness of the US government. An example of which is the apparent hiding of extra-terrestrial bodies recovered from the supposed UFO crash in Roswell, 1947. Due to a lack of evidence and excessive amount of conspiracies, it is unreasonable to believe that Area 51 is housing extra-terrestrials (The Telegraph, 2015). Society should be against the belief of Area 51 housing aliens because it is based on conspiracy theories and the American government…

Society has been molded by a variety of influences upon it. Looking back in time, society has changed drastically within the recent years, and continues to change as time moves forward. Time creates history, and history is the recording of events that have brought an impact upon society. In the year of nineteen eighty-nine, Billy Joel, a musician, released the song, “We Didn’t Start The Fire.” The lyrics of this song name events that the majority of people knew and talked about in the time period those events happened. The musician put forty years of history into a song, starting from the year nineteen forty-nine of which he was born, and ending at nineteen eighty-nine when the song was written. The term “fire” is metaphorically used for the power to create, and the power to destroy. It has provided a major way of life for humanity, and it is still used today. “Fire” used in Joel’s song relates to the influence of events from times before, and recently. Events in history have made both a positive and negative impact on humanity.…

    Colonize Mars Essay

Dr. Stephen Petranek said, ”Some of the greatest advantages in civilization and technology, came because we explored.” Humans should not colonize Mars. If humans colonized Mars, humans would barely be able to survive. Mars lacks two very crucial products to survive, food and oxygen. Humans of the future would not benefit with colonizing Mars because humans who go to Mars, will have a risky voyage, there is not oxygen, and it will cost a lot of money to arrive on Mars.…

Are Aliens Real? Is there life on other planets? This is a question many people have considered at least once in their lifetime. According to Neil deGrasse Tyson author of “The Search for Life in the Universe,” all known cultures across all of the time have attempted to answer the question “are we alone?” According to Tyson, although Earth is the only known life in the universe there are many arguments that have been made that suggest that we are not alone (1) .…

NASA does a “lot of different things” including looking for extraterrestrial life (NASA budget cuts, 2013). NASA has been on a mad hunt to try and find new life. A big accomplishment for NASA is that they have been able to find old microorganisms on Mars. This suggests that there has once been life on Mars. They are trying their hardest to try and get people living Mars. They have set up a program that allows people to sign up to live on Mars.…

Introduction: Extraterrestrial Organisms (ETs) exist throughout the universe, and have visited Earth in the past in order to study humans. There are billions of galaxies in the universe, billions of solar systems in each galaxy, and multiple planets in each solar system, yet the majority of people believe that Earth is the only inhabitable planet in the universe. Although it may seem absurd, and to some even frightening, to believe that there are other planets with life on them, recent research shows that there may indeed be life in planets other than Earth, and recent data even goes further to show that ETs even conduct research on humans and generally have 5 kinds of contact. In order to prove that the existence of ETs, researchers conduct surveys of people that have been abducted (4th kind) in order to determine the similarities between their experiences. Also recent research shows that life on Earth may have actually originated from Mars, thus showing that humans may be ETs. Despite the recent evidence, people still ask why, if ETs actually do exits, don’t they show themselves? This may be attributed to a strategy or plan of the ETs.…

What does a planet need to have in order to support life? Earth is unique in our solar system because it is the only planet that is supporting life. Some scientists go so far as to say that the Earth is a “perfect planet” because it has features that are the perfect environment for living organisms; these features include our atmosphere, water, and a single moon. Earth is also in a place in our solar system where the Sun gives off the right amount of energy to drive the life. The distance from the Earth to the Sun determines how much of that heat we receive. If it weren’t for our ozone layer and Earth’s magnetic field, harmful rays would penetrate our surface and life would be exterminated. Everything the Earth has to offer us is balanced perfectly to keep life continuous.…
