Nursing anesthetist as a career

Some reasons I chose this career as one of my options in the future are that you get to work with patients weather they are children or adults. Another reason is because you get to be in the operating room and see a lot of things that surgeons do. You can also go back to school after doing this because you will have some medical training without going to school all at once. Some things you do in this career are administer anesthesia and monitor patients before and after surgery, something else you may do in this job is give nerve blockers for example, when women are giving birth, the doctor may call a nurse anesthetist to perform a epidural.

There are many reasons to become a nurse anesthetist. And also so many things you can do in this job, you can administer anesthesia to patients during surgery. A physician is also very similar to a nurse anesthetist ,physicians do many different things and work in many different facilities with people of all ages as do nurse Anesthetists. One other thing i can think if that’s a similar job would be a registered nurse i mean even the names should very similar. Nurses do many things that are very similar to what nurse Anesthetists do, they take care of patient before and after surgeries, they work with doctors to help decide on treatment for patients and much more. I would definitely consider nursing as a job choice when i

I always knew I wanted to help others, ever since elementary school and it became clearer and clearer as time went on that nursing was the right career path. Once I went to high school and started taking medical classes and having guest speakers, I felt the profession was a great opportunity to help others. I have taken classes such as Intro to medical professions, intro to medical professions extended, medical procedures, SCC Med/Clincial CNA, anatomy & physiology, and medical terminology. Wow. In this photo I had absolutely no words for the excitement I felt that day. I mean who wouldn’t be excited when you’ve achieved a lifelong dream of yours to become Valedictorian of your 8th grade class. Many people approved, disapproved etcetera and either way I honestly could care less. I finally have achieved years of hardship and standards to finally prove to myself and others that I can “Do all things through christ that gives me strength.” I have learned to move past and accept myself for who I am and that was the best I could’ve done. I utterly cannot explain the weight that has been lifted up from my shoulders to know that I don’t have to prove myself to anyone but me and the lord. I know what I want to do in life and that has been…

Anesthesiologists are a type of doctor that are trained to administer and manage anesthesia given during a surgical procedure. Anesthesiologists are also responsible for monitoring vital signs — such as breathing, heart rate, and blood pressure — during the surgery that is being performed. Nursing is a career that fulfils this aspiration. Having been part of a large family I have been learnt to help others and to do the best I can in everything. I believe Nursing is a career that I would excel at because I love dealing with people and empathising with their troubles and problems. I am hard working, stimulated and compassionate. I have always considered child nursing as an occupation because ever since I was young, when being asked what I wanted to be when I grew up, my reply was to be a child’s nurse or a pediatrician and to be of a support to others in any way I can.…

II. Endless variety and constant change. I believe, being a nurse presents daily challenges which are unique, interesting and rewarding. I believe it provides a vast opportunity for invaluable life learning experiences. Like being in a play where every day presents different characters and there's no pre-determined plot. Also, the potential is endless in this field, from specialty areas to general population, and from newborns through geriatrics. In addition, I like the flexibility that you can live anywhere, be in any field, work with adults, children, in public health, physicians offices, and schools just to name a few. I find that nursing could be what ever I would want to make it.…

The further I learned and read about nursing, the more I was intrigued. I chose to take Health Occupations 1 at KEC this year, my senior year in High School. By the end of this course I will become a CNA. Through this experience, it has not only provided me a deeper look into the medical field, but also has given my hands-on experience. I have come to realize that working in this environment and doing some of the dirtiest jobs seems to be a natural fit for me. I have surprised myself at my ability to do some of the jobs that most dread. It is my personality to want to help others and be there for them during their hard times, being the medical field can allow me to do just that.…
