Why I Want To Become A Registered Nurse
Being a great student and making good grades has always been one of my main interest. In first grade, I had an absolute break down due to seeing red marks on one of my assignments. In that moment, I knew i wanted to work my hardest towards success. Perfection is the most ideal; however, I had to learn that no one can be perfect all of the time. Today, I know that my long journey towards success has involved mistakes, but I choose to learn from those mistakes in order to grow in life and learn valuable lessons. My other interest is nursing. I believe nurses are the foundation to many hospitals. My interest for nursing goes hand in hand with my passion to travel the world and explore other countries because I am very intrigued about volunteer nursing in struggling countries that helps to save the lives of many people who lack the opportunity to seek medical assistance due to the lack of resources or medical staff. To be aware that my participation in something so much greater than I am ,such as volunteer nursing, is very gratifying. …show more content…

My main goal is to become a registered nurse and continue to work towards becoming a neonatal nurse practitioner so I can help to save future generations. I have witnessed peers with so much intelligence drop out or fall behind due the lack of encouragement or

I hope to be a neonatal nurse. To aspire this goal, I will attend a four year college that offers pre-med opportunities as well as access to early internships. After graduation, I plan to apply to a med school in Oregon or California. The reason I plan to be a neonatal nurse has to do with the fact I want to make a change in someone's life. When I was eight years old, my baby brother was born premature due to the use of drugs. He was in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) for three months. He is now ten years old and has a weak immune system. My aunt, who is like a mother to me, had a checkup a week prior to her due date and found out that her baby had lost four pounds. My baby cousin is now nine months old and healthy. Seeing these kids…

A Nurse Practitioner is a registered nurse (RN) who has advanced education and clinical training in a health care specialty area. Personally, I know that in the long run my family will benefit from me going to college and becoming a registered nurse. I did not have a role model growing up and I want to be the person my daughter looks up to in her life. There are many health care jobs that will get me some insight on being a registered nurse. The neonatal period is defined as the first month of life; however, these newborns are often sick for months.” Overall, neonatal nurses are very helpful when it comes to preterm babies. I know that becoming a Neonatal Nurse will take a lot of hard work; therefore, taking the recommended classes during high school and post-high school training will make it easier to infiltrate to a good…
