Why Is Bethany Hamilton Important
Bethany Hamilton’s life is one of the most remarkable in the world. The amount of faith, love, and hope that Bethany Hamilton has is extraordinary. Bethany survived a vicious shark attack in which she lost most of her arm. If something terrible or horrific happens to someone that believes in Christ or at least knows about Him they sometimes point fingers at Him and believe that He “did this to them”. Bethany was nothing like this. In her book she says, “When people ask me what my faith in Christ means to me, I usually answer in just one word: “everything!” This was true before the shark attack and as well as after.” How much faith can a fourteen-year-old girl have?
