Why Is Libert Liberty Important
Each human being that ever walked on the face of this earth has been granted very specific and important rights. The rights that are given to us all are, life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Each one of these rights allows oneself to choose how their life is to be lived, not how others want their lives to end up. With two rights becoming taken out, with the one left that we have to live by up to the choosing, is a daunting task. Without liberty, everyone will end up under someone's control with no say. Without happiness, there will be no joy or fun times to look forward too. Without life, everyone is dead. Liberty, with happiness and with life both taken away, is the one to fight for and to keep. Without freedom there is no individual choice, there is no other option and there is only following. …show more content…
This protective cloak comes in the form of options. When freedom is brought about to people, they are able to make decisions for their own well being without pressure by others to act a certain way. Many have fought, sacrificed, and died for their chance to be free and have their own say. People are so willing to fight because without doing so, others will be in control of them. Life is delicate, and for each and everyone one of us life will end one day. That day is unknown for most people which both frightens them and encourages them. Everyone is scared of dying one day, but without choices and options to have while alive, there is not much to look forward to. Everyday will be lived day in and day out by the orders enforced. Life is not meant to be lived as a slave to another person's will, life is meant to be lived freely with with your own will guiding your

    Happiness and safety, (aka, “the good life”) was a large part in the underlying message of The Constitution. The founding fathers had to have a view of the fundamentals of politics and its relationship to the many. My initial thoughts gravitate toward self-preservation, without it we would not be the nation we are today (and in part the way the founding fathers possible wanted the government to be). Within the need for self-preservation essentially came the Constitution as we know it today. It was a means to have security from dangers of “domestic convulsion” as stated by our founding fathers. We can be certain that previous statements regarding how the government should conduct itself, supports the idea of “the good life”. “Justice is the end of the government. It is the end of civil society.” (Fed. # 51). Per Martin, “justice” means “civil rights” and in his terms meant the protection of economic interests. A recurring item pertaining to the object of government is that it refers to “happiness”. These two basic ideas bring together the real notion that The Constitution was built around the ideals of protecting ourselves and keeping the many as happy as possible.…

    Freedom is not something that anybody can be given; Freedom is something that people take and people are as free as they want to be. Benjamin Franklin, one of the Founding Fathers of the United States, states, "Those who desire to give up freedom in order to gain security will not have, nor do they deserve, either one." Basically, Franklin is saying that in any circumstances mankind should not forget about the most important thing in the world - freedom. Freedom is when people have the opportunity to pursue happiness without any barriers. Freedom "gives" happiness because the state of being free is aligned with our true nature. The more you are aligned with your true nature, the more you are well. To simplify this, I would say if we have freedom - we have happiness; if we lose freedom we lose happiness as well.
