Why Is Should Get a Tablet
Birthday Present: Tablet
(Samsung Galaxy Note10.1) INTRODUCTION As you know my birthday has recently passed, and what I want for a present is a tablet. I want a tablet because I need a lightweight portable device with good screen resolution for schoolwork, entertainment, studying, long drives, etc. the tablet which I want and feel is best suited for me is the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1. This tablet is better than the ones we have at home for various reasons. After reading this you will surely understand why I want and require this tablet.

Why do I need this tablet? I require this tablet for a variety of reasons. Firstly I require this tablet to complete the schoolwork which was assigned to me. For the past year I have been using the family computer for my various projects and assignments, which has caused a great nuisance for everyone as I take a lot of time to complete my work. Nobody else in the household is able to use the computer for their needs. Using one of the tablets is out of question as the Nexus 7 usually out of charge or hidden and the Ipad is usually being used (multiple tabs are used simultaneously causing low speed). Moreover, I understand the “subtle” hints; i.e. the password protection and blatant statement “You are not allowed to touch this” or “this is mine you cannot use it.” Both statements are understandable as I know how much of a trouble cause you, which is why I can correct myself by having my own device.
Another reason why I want a tablet is for entertainment purposes. Entertainment is not an issue when it comes to daily routine, the problem arises when we go for a long drive or plane/train travel. During these times Aravind and I get extremely bored which eventually leads to irritation and concludes with a fight. Breaking up or getting involved in these fights is not very pleasant for you making you frustrated and then everyone is put in a bad mood. Nobody feels good after these fights yet no one can

By launching IPAD, in January 2010, and releasing it into the market in April, Apple introduced a potential new product category in computers which is likely to change the way consumers interact with their devices. IPAD was able to meet a changing consumer need which saw them preferring to ‘swipe a finger across a touch screen’ instead of using a keyboard. More than 15 million units were sold in the first year alone. In a move which surprised many market watchers, Apple launched IPAD2, in March 2011, slightly more than a year after the first IPAD was released onto the market. Surprisingly!, because many marketers would have thought that IPAD1 had not yet gone through its full product life cycle. However, this move by Apple is in response to the changing competitive environment which has seen growth in the interest of tablet computers from competitors. Analysts predict the computer tablet market to treble in size in 2012. By launching IPAD2, Apple has left competitors playing ‘catch up’ in a growing segment with consumers hungry for new products. There are a dozen or more competitors with rival tablets to IPAD2 likely to be launched in 2011 from competitors like Microsoft and Toshiba.…

Opponents of tablets say that they are expensive, too distracting for students, easy to break, and costly/time-consuming to fix. They say that tablets contribute to eyestrain, headaches, and blurred vision, increase the excuses available for students not doing their homework, require costly Wi-Fi networks, and become quickly outdated as new technologies are released.…

Some people think that it is a bad idea to replace tablets with textbooks and some other people think it is a good idea. There can be many opinions over this topic, so let’s explain why we shouldn’t have them replace our textbooks. The first reason that we shouldn’t have them is because if you lose them it’s it will have a critical impact on school. One of the reasons it could have an impact is because we could lose everything you had on it. Not only that but they also cost a lot of money. If we keep the normal textbooks it will save money over time because they last longer than normal devices, and not only that they are a lot cheaper. The textbook might break but they are not that expensive to replace.Another factor with the tablet is that…

In 2010, in reaction to rumors of a 7-inch tablets being introduced into the market, Steve Jobs simply said, “7-inch tablets are tweeners: too big to compete with a Smartphone and too small to compete with the iPad” (Chen, 2010). While Apple has stayed true to this, many tablet manufacturers have introduced tablets smaller than the iPad, and they are having success. Samsung has introduced the Galaxy Tab, which is generally just 7 inches, although it also comes in a 10.1 inch version. flouting into a market with so many sellers is easy, but success is not guaranteed. One must look at the firm considered to offer the most competition, demand and supply, and both the issues and the opportunities that will be faced. If all factors are carefully considered, all possible outcomes explored – success can be achieved.…

A tablet is a medium-sized portable personal computer where a pen or touch screens is the primary interface, as opposed to a keyboard and mouse. Some tablet PC’s have hardware keyboard attached whereas others feature touch-based interfaces and accomplish the task of character input with on-screen keyboard enters or hand-writing recognition. Tablets are portable and mobile; they can go places where notebooks and desktop PC’s are impractical. To be portable, tablets usually come with a wireless connection to provide local network access or an Internet connection.…

There are ways to make tablet better than the phone because the tablet have books that are easier to read in than phone. The phones models improve with bigger screens like the iPhones. The bigger screens of the phones make more people buy them, so they can read better. Tablet has a brightness option to make the screen easier to read from in some places that are dark. The glass that I like on the screen for tablet is the Gorilla glass. The Gorilla glass strengthens the resistance of the glass, so it doesn’t break easily, allows very light screens to last longer on tablets, and is very popular to the world. The tablet that I want is a screen with a size of 18 inches. Twelve screen tablets are great because they allow multiple apps to run at the same time and handle lots of tasks like a computer does. One of the tablets that has a screen size of 18 inches is Samsung Galaxy View. The tablet is very nice to watch videos from, read from, and look at the Internet sources. The speakers are high-quality with the ability to hear the sound from anywhere near the…

Typically laptops come with more memory (4-8GB) than tablets. Tablets typically come with an average of 1GB of RAM. If the purchase is for memory purposes then the laptop would be a better option. However, the tablet can have increased memory it just comes at a steeper price ($2000) than the laptop. The battery life of the device is important depending on how much the device will be used. The average battery life for a laptop is about six hours. Let’s keep in perspective it takes more “juice” to run a laptop than a small tablet which has an average battery life of ten hours. The main focus for a purchase would be price, memory, and battery life. Laptops, like desktop PCs before them, have a built-in benefit over tablets, and that benefit is power. As a rule, laptops have more powerful processing hardware, allowing for a wider range of uses, faster performance and better multitasking. Laptops can easily handle common tablet uses—like Web browsing and media streaming—and then go significantly further, with uses ranging from simple data entry to complex tasks like photo and video editing.…

I think that tablets are simple. Simply because its technology and most teenagers know how to use them. They are also simply in a school matter such as they don’t use paper. Also instead of breaking your back when you have to lug all those books home it’s easy and practical to just take a tablet home. Yes I know that they seem expensive at first but everything is now a day. But over time they pay for themselves. What I mean when I say that is that they hold hundreds of textbooks without paying for most of them.…

She believes that students are excited about receiving their own tablets next year and students who have financial issues this is a great way to help them develop these skills. Teachers have taken advantage of the technology movement now. With the ability to check plagiarism easier and a new way to educate students, teachers are enjoying their classes.
