Why Should Private Gun Ownership Be Banned

Another reason why private gun ownership should be banned is because, contrary to popular belief, it is not in the Second Amendment that people are required to own guns for their safety. While it does say that people are justified in owning their personal arms, it does not say that people have a constitutional right to own machine guns, anti-tank weapons or chemical munitions. Theoretically, any part of the constitution, including amendments included in the “Bill of Rights”, can be amended or abolished.
