I love science and learning about how things in our world come about. I would like to share this passion with my students. I believe that I can encourage children to explore their world and learn about all the interesting things going on around them. I plan on being a hands-on teacher and doing lots of experiments in my classroom.
Another reason I would like to teach science is that I would like to make learning fun. Teaching science will give me many opportunities to capture my student's attention. I believe I can make science an interesting and fun subject for our future generations. For example, building a volcano and learning about how volcanoes benefit/destroy life on earth. Teaching children that things can be destructive, but also be beneficial to earth is very important.
One more reason I would like to teach is because I believe I can make a difference in the lives of children. I want to be a teacher that makes the classroom a place that students want to be in. I remember how my teachers believed and encouraged me to want to learn new things. Teaching will give me the opportunity to give back to the community by being a positive role model like my teachers were.
The love of science and learning new things will be the main goal in my classroom. Hopefully, I will prepare my students for future academic learning and promote a lifetime of learning for them. Anytime I get discouraged, I will remember my past teachers and how much their support meant to me. For me teaching is not about the paycheck that you take home every two weeks, but the faces that are in
