Youth programs
Research what youth programs are available in your community. In a 1-2 page paper, provide a brief description of your specific programs, what demographic, are they geared toward, and what their purpose may be. Whose responsibility is it to provide such programs and why?
There is in Pasco County, programs for the youth to be able to play sports, the Hudson Pasco Police athletic League-football Inc, from Hudson cobras pal, the number is 727-267-8357 another is Salvation Army, youth football, at veterans park, 727-919-3832, this two programs, have football in mind, for young youth, for after school, and on weekends, they teach sports contact, and team building, and two make, and keep friendship, and to have a respect, for the communities. These sports programs are for boys ages 8 and up
The Shady hills little league Inc, Cindy Campbell, 727-645-1959 they play at Elsie Logan Memorial Park, Shady Hills Park, volunteers fund this and the parents help to pay for cloths and dues, another is west Pasco Girls fast pitch softball, by Keith Satterwhite, 727-631-1548, played in Oakridge park, this is also funded by volunteers, and paid for by parents, the sports programs are for both boys, and girls, middle class, and up, and the ages ten, and up, this two programs, are for after school and on the weekend, they teach teamwork, and trusting, the other member of the team, they teach friends ship, and how to stay out, of crime and drugs.
For both programs, it is the parents, that get together, and talk to the community, about having sports programs, for children, to keep them out of harm’s way, and for a way, for them to learn and to become better, in the sport, they are interested
