In the year of 2154, Zacharias was the heir to the throne of Crux. He resided in the stone cold walls of the city Teopavia, longing for the nights when he could meet the one and only girl he had ever loved: Maricia.
Maricia lived just outside of the castle walls, earning money by selling ceyceallian orbs and boxes of firemouth smokes. She was to do this in secret, but royalty had an eye on everyone: there were no secrets. You cannot hide in Teopavia.
So it did not take long for Zacharias’ parents to find out about his beloved Maricia. They tried their best to keep him inside of the castle and away from her, even when they told him about what Maricia did in the cover of dark nights.

As he paced tirelessly around his room, his head continuously filled with the thought that Maricia could die, and it would be all of his fault. As he sat on his windowsill, images of the bloodstained stairs flashed in his head, and the sounds of her cries echoed in his ears. He howled, gritting his teeth against the tears threatening to spill.
