Acting independently is some times a virtue or a defect that a person could posses, these attitudes play an important role in shaping the personality and character of and individual. When an individual takes this personality trait so serious they could do many good or bad things that could influence the way of thinking and behaviours of many other individuals. In the movie “V for Vendetta” by David Lloyd, the protagonist V is described as an elegant, a vast literary, cultural, philosophical intellect and ruthless man who becomes an emblem of freedom and security for the people of London where the movie takes place. In this movie it is shown how an individual can initiate by him self multiple acts against a fascist governor and tries to show the people under that government the injustices, lack of opportunities, lies and insecurity provided by that government. V was a person that was unsatisfied with the governments policies and he decided to fight this regimen by himself and by his own ways. He believed that his method of political fighting could be successful in demonstrating to the society the outrages deficiencies of the government. He believed that he would not failed in doing himself this task. He became obsessed with this dream and now and then he planed very careful each one of his acts. The author shows us that the fascist government has turned to unity and therefore removed anything that caused change or made individuals unique, V in the past suffered the cruelty and injustices of the government, therefore his sense of thirst of vengeance. He utilizes violence to accomplish his goals independently with the aim to show the society the injustices and lies in the government. He persuades the society to stand and fight for what they feel is right and free.
What is clear is that the protagonist V, personified a symbol of inconformism, a way of doing pacific or no pacific protest. All this was done by himself
