Benefits Of Having An Open Campus
In the American School Foundation of Monterrey, open campus isn’t allowed. Making ASFM an open campus, students will develop organization skills, independency, responsibility, social abilities, that would help them throughout their lives not only that but also the stress from the school would be decreased by doing ‘Open Campus’.
By having an Open Campus at ASFM, it would bring a lot of benefits to the students in the long run. “With the freedom that Tec is given us, it makes us realize that we have to make more responsible decisions. Meaning that we need to take into consideration that if we leave school, we have to arrive at Tec at a certain hour so we can be on time for our classes. This is something that surely helps us students to progress and develop further responsibility and independency skills.” This is something that most people will agree on. By letting students be themselves, students will come to class fully prepared with tons of energy to finish the day up in a good way. According to conectusfund.org “This means that open campus lunch would energize children from being on their own and allow them to return fully prepared to finish things up.” This is something that many school should take into consideration. Schools can’t make students act like they want them to. This is because if schools teach students how to act, they would star thinking differently, and are more likely to change in the long run. Why? Because schools teached them how to act and behave for almost 10 years. Students should be able to be themselves, behave like they want.
