Bud Not Buddy, By S. E. Hinton
Bud not Buddy
Oh my there's Miss Caldwell! This story would be different in modern time because Bud's mom wouldn't have died because there would be medicine and hospitals. Also, Bud wouldn't be hungry all the time because there would be more missions and food places. Another reason it would be different is Bud would be going to school because he wouldn’t be on the hunt for somebody. This helps my last point I mentioned. Bud not Buddy would be different in modern times.

because they would be living in modern era. In modern era, there are hospitals and there would be medicine to cure sicknesses and disease. Bud's mom also wouldn't have died because she might've had a car and could've drove to the doctor's. Bud's mom might've been remarried so then someone could take care of her. Bud's mom wouldn't have died because Bud would have been going to school so Bud could have told somebody. That's how it would be different.
Thirdly, Bud wouldn't have been poor. One reason is Bud's mom might've had a job. Second off, there would have been unemployment insurance so she would have had a little bit of money. If they had a money they wouldn't be poor. They wouldn't be poor like in chapter six. That's another reason it would have been different.
Next, Bud wouldn't always be hungry. Bud wouldn't be hungry because he went to school. At school they would have served them breakfast and lunch. Also, there would be churches and food drives that he could have got food from. Also, there would be homeless shelters that serve food. Bud wouldn't be hungry like in chapter eight. That's the last reason why it would be

No bud doesn't he never even knew his dads name. But since then Bud has been on many let's say fun adventures and even kissing a girl but he was a foster child and escaped from this family named the Amos. Bud, Not Buddy would have been a deferent book if there would have been modern technology because he could have called his dad, he could have watched tv instead of fitting with Todd, and the police would of caught up with him faster. To begin with, bud could have found his dad and that would completely change the story as a whole. If he could have called his dad he wouldn't of had to walk all the way to grand rapids to see him.…

After being abandoned as an infant, Buddy the Elf was unconsciously stowed away in Santa’s sack and taken to the North Pole where he was adopted as an elf. He fell under the apprenticeship of Papa Elf, who acted as a mentor, a father, and provided mental encouragement. However, due to his blunderous size and inability to parallel the productivity of his colleagues, he was outcasted from the other elves and assigned to the lowly job as a toy tester. Because of his apparent difference from the other elves, Papa Elf reluctantly relayed to Buddy that he was human and had been given up for adoption as a child by Walter Hobbs and Susan Wells. Determined to find his father, Buddy ventured to the children’s book company in New York in which Walter worked.…

Even though her childhood was not very enjoyable, her parents try to make it up by obtaining jobs so they could have the bare essentials. Jeanette’s father, who is extremely intelligent, worked in the barite mine as an electrician trying to bring home a stable income for his family to ensure the best success for his kids. “ The barite mine where Dad worked had a commissary, and the mine owner deducted our bill and the rent for the depot out of Dad’s paycheck every month. At the beginning of each week, we went to the commissary and brought home bags and bags of food” (Walls 56). The effect of getting money to pay for food was huge for this family because when they had no money left, their kids would go through the garbage and trying to find leftover food from others to ensure they don’t get hungry.
