Chick-fil-A, founded by S. Truett Cathy in 1967, was the most popular fast food restaurant in the southern states. As Chick-fil-A was first located in Georgia, the business has expanded to 1679 locations in 39 states in the United States including drive thought restaurant, stand-alone restaurant, food court in malls, institutional locations at colleges and airports (Harvey, P., & Allard, J.; 2015)

In addition social media today can quickly spread to diverse consumers therefor using it in the effective way and considering diversity from both individual and social identity group might help business mange their organization effectively (2008).
In addition, with globalization, racial and ethnic conflict in community, every organization should have its own views of ethical and spiritual core. In this situation of Chick-fil-A, the business should make the company’s stance on the issue of same-sex marriage neutral and focus on their mission and core values in order to enhance the company’s image by being more diverse.
Implementation Plan
In response to the critics, the management team of Chick-Fil-a had to figure out a strategy in order to make their business move forward based on their vision and purpose. To illustrated, the company should prove that they are respect human rights by stopping the donations to anti-gay marriage groups, making its charitable in the community be clear in public. In addition, the company can support gay groups to show that they don’t discriminate against gay people.
