This question will deal with the origins of Hitler's rise to power in Germany, which lasted from mid 1920s to the early 1930s. Hitler rose to power mainly due to the fact that at any opportunities of weakness of the opponent he would capitalize on it and turn the tides to his favour. One of the reasons that Hitler had rose to power was due to the Weakness of the existing Weimar Government while another one was World War One. In this essay we will examine which factor played a greater pivotal factor. The stand of this essay is that the World War was a greater factor to blame for the rise of power of Hitler as compared to the weakness of the existing regime. This is as the after effects of World War I had highlighted the weaknesses of the Weimar government thus showing how inefficient they were showing the populus that the Weimar Government was not fit to lead Germany to its greatness.
