Essay On Why I Want To Be Anesthesiologist
I want to be an anesthesiologist because I am interested in the medical field, and I want to be able to help people during their operation session. Anesthesiologist get paid very well for what they do. They also don’t get too involved with actually working on the patient, which is good because I would prefer it if I don’t stay in contact with the actual operating part which is perfect for me.
What is an anesthesiologist? Anesthesiologist are specialist physicians who are involved in helping patients in the operating room, specializes in anesthesiology. They are not just involved in the operating rooms though, they also take place in many other situations. For example, an Obstetric Anesthesiologist, they help people give birth. Why do I choose Duke out of all the schools in the U.S? I choose Duke University because I would like to play basketball for them, and would like to get a scholarship. If not Duke then I would choose to go to Uconn (University of Connecticut). Basketball is my top priority but if I don't make it then I have to have a Plan B and that is the medical field.     To become a CRNA it takes at least seven years of education and training. You must have graduated high school, and must graduate college with a bachelor degree in nursing, such as BSN (bachelor‘s of science in nursing), or another field, that must be approved by the program. Once someone has a BSN, you must get licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN). To do so, you must pass the NCLEX-RN, the national licensing exam.
