Examples Of Sudeep Eddulla
My name is Sudeep Eddula and I am a great candidate for the Principals Award and want to apply for it. I have been a part of many extracurricular and academic activities in hopes of striving towards being the best scholar I can be. Most importantly, I hope to use all of the experience I gain through working to achieve my goals in the future to thrive and prosper as an individual going into my community. I’ve spent three years at Margarita Middle School and over these important years I’ve been passionate about achieving my goals by maintaining excellent grades and being an influential and cooperative student by helping people and my community out. I’ve consistently maintained a 4.0 GPA and have worked hard to achieve awards in most classes every …show more content…
for that class this year and am working towards gaining more knowledge in STEM as I hope to have a career in it. 8th-period Spanish is another way I work towards my goals as it's an important factor in helping me accelerate my journey towards a successful future as it will allow me to go directly to Spanish 2 as a freshman. I continue to strive towards being the best scholar I can be and work hard in and out of school to work towards my ambitions. During my time at Margarita Middle School, I’ve been included in many extracurricular groups and have successfully earned awards and met the achievements of the societies. I’ve been a member of NJHS(National Junior Honour Society) for a year as I have been helping my community for 20+ hours in 7th grade and have completed 10+ this year and am aiming to do more. Helping my community opened up a new side of me and showed me that helping out the people around me was something I enjoyed doing. I’ve volunteered at Rancho Elementary multiple times and will continue to do so over every chance I get as it makes me happy to help my community and see other people having fun. I was also a part of the Scripps Spelling Bee in 6th grade and after many days of hard work and effort, I placed 1st in the school and proceeded to place 2nd in all of

My biggest community activity is for Special Olympics of New Jersey. My family and I attend many of the events for SONJ including the Summer Games. I started volunteering by working and playing with the athletes. The area we staffed was where the athletes came to take a break and play with carnival-like games. The ages ranged from little kids to adults. It was fun putting smiles on their faces when you told them they won! It showed me we aren’t any different than them. They still like to do sports and have fun. They love to win prizes as do we. They just have disabilities that make them special. Over all volunteering for SONJ is a fantastic experience and in my opinion every boy and…

The results of my hard work and the positive impact it creates on the people around me is a reward in itself. One of the most memorable instances in which I contributed to the greater good was during the summer of my freshman year where I volunteered at West Pines Community Church. That summer, myself and about 50 other volunteers set out to make an impactful difference in the…

Another example of helping my school community is setting up for Winter Formal. Key Club is a club that accumulates all of the values and ethics of service. As of this year, I have become a part of this organization. Now I like to sign up for as many volunteer opportunities as my time permits, and this club provides me with many of those. I have a lot of fun every time I contribute to these events and believe that these opportunities improve me as a person.…

Last year, I went to Pinetree Preschool, where there is nothing but young children. That was an experience I enjoyed and found so valuable and opened my eyes to the potential and possibilities of children. This year, I chose the complete opposite of Pinetree and I volunteered at Primrose, a retirement home for people who suffer from alzheimer's or dementia. At Primrose, I saw a completely different side of human life. That may seem like an exaggeration but I tend not to spend much time with people much, much older than me, as they were at Primrose. I learned an incredible amount of patience and understanding and just life in general during my time volunteering at Primrose, that I could not had received anywhere else.…

As long as I can remember service to others was always encouraged by my family and teachers. For example, I helped teachers with the intent of lightening their load of work so they can be able to go home earlier. Things like this make me proud because I am able to help others, and to bring a smile to their faces. My excuse to avoid community service was that I always thought that school was all about homework and getting good grades to be on the top 20 of your class. Truth is I have always overlooked this people thinking they were being lazy for not working, but through this community service I learned that each and everyone around the world is fighting their own battles and we all deal with them the best way we can. I am proud of myself because I went to that community service and learned about this people who I had always stereotyped by their actions, community service has encouraged me to actively listen and learn from others, to walk alongside my neighborhood and to build new…

Hello, my name is Shane Richardson. In Stranahan High School, I am a jack of all trades. I am currently the only sophomore taking Mr. Hale’s AP Calculus class, I have co founded the science club, and I play tennis outside of school. I think I would be an asset to the Honor Society because I am really organized. I know if you ever see my books in the hallway they are kind of a mess with papers but I know how to set up conferences, make lists, and organize events. I also never give up. In anything I do, I believe that if you start something you should see it through. One example of this is my calculus class. I started out the year not knowing anything about calculus. I didn’t even know what calculus (The study of change) was. I was really nervous about having my first AP math class and I was stressed out about the first quiz. I realized later that if I prepare well and I work my hardest I can succeed in anything.…

Before I started doing community service I really didn’t care about others. I was just in my own world and just doing things that weren’t that beneficial for me and others. But that changed once I started to know other people’s situations. Realizing what the people who I was helping went through helped me have a change of heart. It made me care about others and understand how they felt.…

Think back to when you were a kid and you waited anxiously for the whole school year to be over with so you could do that one special thing. For my friends and I it was going to the big, red bricked church down the road and getting free sack lunches. The older I got the roles had been switched, from receiving the lunches, to providing the lunches for the anxiously waiting kids. Community service changes the life of you, and also the lives of others.…

Ever since I was a child I was always inspired to help others. Whether it was volunteering or donating or even taking a survey to give my perspective, as long as it was helping someone and making a difference- I always enjoyed it. So going into high school year, I took the initiative of volunteering. Volunteering at the Yale Hospital since high school for four years truly changed me as a person by helping me grow as a better leader. I came out of my comfort zone and the program gave me an opportunity to experiment and try new things. It taught me responsibility, working skills, how to interact with patients, staff, and visitors of the hospital. I was lucky enough to work at different sectors of the hospitals and familiarize myself with the hospital setting. In this process, I learned…

Here are some examples of my service to my community. During my 8th grade year in Elena Christian Jr. High School, both my classmates and I, we decided to do a beach cleanup. We chose the beach across from Water Gut. It was a wonderful experience because I was able to help out my community in a positive way. I volunteer and participate with the Junior Meteorology Club of Elena L. Christian Junior High School. I help with certain fundraisers such as; bake sales, car washes and collecting donations. I like to be there for people who are in need because it shows people that I am a caring and loving person. I also volunteered at the Agriculture Fair of 2010. I was helping out the Virgin Islands Police Department booth, assisting the police cadets, police officers, lieutenants and as well as the commissioner. Both my mom and I, we donated funds for Haiti at the VIPD in Frederiksted.…

I joined a community outreach program where we went to a surrounding town’s housing complex and helped the kids after school with homework. I worked with a student, who when I started was in kindergarten, his name was Jordian. When I first started going he could barely sit still in a chair, he could barely count 5 and was not close to reading. When I left my senior year he would come in and mostly everyday sit and start his homework. He was now adding without much difficulty and starting to learn multiplication. During reading time he would sit down and work on his reading. Helping the kids not only learn but make a positive impact on their lives is something I will keep with me forever.…
