Letter for Scholarship

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
I would like to start my letter by showing my sincere thanks for all your generosity and kindness for providing such a huge amount of money as scholarship to students. Your support is greatly appreciated and your kindness would not be soon forgotten. The scholarship will surely help me a lot to improve my studies, and most important, to fulfill my dream. I would surely spread the word of your kindness and I am also willing to travel around and promote these meaningful program.
Let's briefly introduce myself. I am King Cheung, a Form2 student from La Salle College. I am a fourteen-year-oId teenager and also the only child of my parents. I have a lot of hobbies, both in academy and sports, like fencing, athletics, ice-skating, calligraphy, English and Chinese debate, piano, mathematics and science. Now, I'm also the visual arts team, fencing team, campus TV team, English debating team and the student association.
Now, I'm going to present myself and prove proudly why I deserve this scholarship. I'm going to prove it by five main points. Academic results, conduct, contributions, leadership potential, communication skills .
First of all, academic result. I have already been academic excellent since I was studying in La Salle Primary School. I have been at the top three in my class all along to secondary school. I am especially interested in science that I'm even chosen to join the courses of Gifted and Talented Education in the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology to study about behavior genetics and molecular science in food and beverages. Although some of the materials taught inside are ranges of universities level, I listened attentively and understood a lot. I have also won the award of academic excellence every year.
Second, is about contributions. Besides academy, I'm also good at music and speech. I participated in the Hong Kong Schools Speech festival and the Hong Kong Schools Music festival every year.
