Letters To Thomas Monologue

In the year 1918 my husband gets back from the WW1 mine and Thomas’s kids were so happy and so was I. It has been four years since we have seen him. I’ve had to do some much work over the years and it was fun because I actually got to do something for once because all of us women got treated poor and it wasn’t fair. When Thomas came back I told him all the things i had did while he was gone and I had to tell him what I had did in the factories which was really fun because I got to make close and everything and he was happy for me . But I had to tell him something really important and I really don’t think he would like to har but he was going to find out anyways. So I told him that are only daughter Mckia had passed away with a virus and the doctor could not treat and he dropped to the floor and started crying and from then till now I will never forget the look that he made at me at that moment it was something that I can’t really explain to but it was heartbreaking. But now i’m going to tell you what my life was like when my husband Thomas my dear Thomas went to war .

It was a hard day that day and my boys didn’t want to come out of there rooms and I had to make them . We are having a funeral this evening I told the boys and so they got up and got ready. I had to stay home today from work and some of my friends from the factory came to the funeral and it cheered me up how much people care about me and my family and how since the men went to war i’ve gotting to know people and work with people and it’s just made me happy that i’ve finally gotting to do something other than sitting my tale at home cleaning all the time.
