My Cultural Identity
Religion, language and music. Who knew that they make up our cultural identity. Culture is the arts and other manifestations of human intellectual achievement regarded collectively. For many people many different things may be the main things to form their own cultural identity. My cultural identity reflects my religion, values, and music.
First off, one characteristic to reflect my cultural identity is my religion. Religion is the belief in and worship of a superhuman controlling power, especially a personal God or gods. My religion is very important to me. Since I became a christian I have seen God work in my life. He has shown me many miracles and His word tells me what I must do in life, which is be a disciple and spread His word, and the purpose is for God. My religion is part of me and always will be no matter what.
Secondly, values are another characteristic that make up or form my cultural identity. Values are what you believe is important in life. In my culture we have many values and one of those many values is God. My values help me focus on

Music is vocal or instrument sounds combined in such a way as to produce a beauty of form, harmony, and expression of emotion. It is true music is truly beautiful and I believe it is crucial to the human culture. Music as it says can be the expression of emotion of emotion. Everyday people listen to a certain type of music depending on the emotion they are feeling. Such as if a person was sad they would listen to sad songs or at least try to listen to upbeat songs to try to lighten up their mood. Music is part of my life, a huge part in fact. I have played the violin for 11 years of my life so music speaks to me to where I can show strong emotion in what I am playing.
