There are three different types of learning styles, visual learners learn by viewing or seeing something being taught to them, kinesthetic learn by moving, and an auditory learner such as myself learns by hearing. In the learning styles assessment I found my highest score to be auditory, my second highest being kinesthetic, and visual the least out of the other learning styles. I learn better when listening or moving -being hands on- rather than just visualizing what is being discussed, though using pictures does help at times. I’ve learned that I study better by hearing what is being said or actually moving these learning styles are most beneficial for me when I am learning something new.
The most effective way I study is by hearing and moving, I’ve used this method to learn …show more content…
I could try to incorporate practicing this learning style by associating what I hear with what I see in order to automatically form a visual image. In my mind, to better understand the many concepts being taught in my classes, this would be most beneficial. In my biology class, because we have to memorize structures of atoms and the cell, I can’t actually hear a structure or just feel for it. The majority of the time the structure is on paper instead of 3D therefore I would have to visualize it. The visual learning method would also be very helpful in my lab class for visualizing the equipment. I must use in order to perform experiments and determining the result of an experiment already done. By learning to strengthen my weakest learning style, visual learning, I can grow in all learning styles and become very flexible when it comes to learning anything. So, this would be extremely beneficial to have strength in all learning style
