Personal Narrative Essay: The Joy Of Dance Hockey
Blake, Jack, and I went to go play roller hockey. We got there and some other kids were at the rink. We started to do some drills and passing. A couple times we accidently hit the puck on their side. Finally they started purposely shooting their pucks on our side.

They keep saying get off our side for no reason. Even my mom was getting mad and told them we were doing nothing. The one kid started to give my mom attitude. That's when I started to get mad. I told him to shut up. He didn’t listen that's when things got pretty intense. Then it started to rain and we took off our skates and played in the rain. They went to their car to wait out the storm. When the rain stopped all of a sudden it got really hot.

So we put are skates back on and

It was a crisp spring day the birds were chirping and the bugs were buzzing and my brother and I, at the age of 10, were playing around in the backyard of our house. All we were doing was just playing around in the backyard having a fun time being normal children as always. Then I came up with this perfect idea to play hockey because since we all love hockey. So we wouldn't work garage I got a plastic baseball bat and my brother got a wooden baseball bat plus a whiffle ball.…

and Kaleigh got to the track there was a girl from our school there that Kaleigh and I weren't very fond of owing to the fact of what type of girl she was. The girl's name was Sydney a mean arrogant girl that wasn't very nice to many people. Sydney was surrounded by all of her friends and as we walked by they all started snickering which right then we knew that Sydney and her friends were non verbally making fun of us in a very childish way. Sydney was the leader in the friend group the sort of identity she made of herself. Her friends were super nice girls but when they were around her not so much at all. Me and Kaleigh never said anything maybe to not cause drama or we gave her the implied permission to be like that because we never stood…

Shoulder fake left, head fake right, a sweet inside outside move, and he fires it in top shelf, beating the goalie glove side to win the game. While that may sound like a narrative of a game-winning hockey goal, in reality, it is 1:30 AM on your average Thursday night and I am struggling to find the perfect concluding sentence to finish my history term paper. Often when I am struggling to find an answer to a question or need to concentrate on any given topic, I reach for my worn-out Warrior hockey stick and my dusty orange ball and begin to stickhandle mindlessly. One might never know, that my mind is far away from hockey as I look like a complete fool deking (hockey term for getting past people) imaginary people on my way to an imaginary net.…

The most memorable thing that happened to me was when I first discovered what I’m really good at. I came across inspiring Youtube videos of old classic Roller Derby and recent ones that were published only a year ago, I knew from the moment I laid eyes on those quads that I had to try it. In less than two weeks I was a complete natural at skating, I was all about skates. I practiced all the derby stances, exercises, techniques you name it I am absolutely in love with this sport. but as much as I fantasized about doing it I never thought that I’d actually get the chance to be part of their world and have training by the Derby Dames Juniors Freshmeat Association crew, which are ranked the top thirty-one in the united states!…

Playing Ice Hockey was a burning passion of mine. It all started in the cold and dense locker room. Practice had just finished up and we were inside the locker room getting undressed. I was a forward on the team and was only ten years old. The team goalie was sick and was not going to be able to make our game the next day. Coach asked “Is anyone willing to play goalie for our game?” and I, the young ten year old boy I was; was the first person to quickly respond saying “I will!” Playing goalie was destined for me, I was a star and very talented.…

Most people say cheerleading is not a sport, but to me it is. It all began when I was four years old and my mom signed me up to cheer for the Harrisburg Packers. I was nervous at first, but then it turned out to be a lot of fun. Everyone on the team was tall except for me and one other girl. Her name was Tatum. The first thing I thought was that I was going to get picked on by all the other girls because I was so little and shy, but it turned out to be totally different.…

My father, Coach Blake, told me to start the game off the right way and I did. The first pitch I hit deep in the outfield and got a triple. The team follow in them steps. The score of the game was our 8 to there 4. Then the team got cocky. That was a really bad idea through. We started to play horrible. We wasn’t getting on base nor playing good defense. The other team took over. Now the game was tied 8-8 and the game was coming to an end. It was our time to bat and we fail to score. It went three up three down. All we need was at least one person to hit and I would’ve hit again. All both Coach wanted was to get Torin and Me to hit. It fail to happen and now it was the other team turn to hit. The bases was load and they had two outs. One more out and we got another chance. Coach moved me from to catcher to pitcher and the pitcher to catcher. I throw the ball and the batter hit it down the third base line and they score. The game was over. We lose 9-8.…

Field hockey wasn’t my first true love. My first love was softball. I believed that I had found the sport that I loved and wanted to play as long as I could. My mind was set for the long term, and I believed that this was the sport for me. This all changed when I was introduced to field hockey. On the last day of middle school, I was approached by the middle school coach and she asked me if I wanted to come out and play that summer. I was hesitant to agree, since I planned on playing summer softball and I didn’t want to have multiple practices a day. In the end, my friend Naomi convinced me to sign up. Weeks started to pass without a word from the coach, and I forgot all about signing up for hockey, until one day she called my mother’s phone…

Some of my friends and the kids in our group had started doing things besides cursing which included damaging and taking stuff and hiding it and that leads to our story. It was november of 7th i think we had almost complete influence over all of our small middle school. The 8th only had 2 boys and 13 girls so the 8th grade boys hung with us. It was our normal routine make it through all our classes. Get to gym tear stuff up. Our main objective was to have fun not caring what others thought of us nor the consequences of such actions. Thus started the worse day of our lives we to sum things up shortly we finished saying dirty things to the girls and headed to gym. We decided we would play kick ball but soon it became who can kick the hardest i kicked it once and it broke the light. The gym teacher was yelling at us for a while but soon ran in her office crying. After arguing with me and my group of friends. It…

I had just finished my hockey game, one which we lost by far. I slowly skated my way off the ice, as everyone looked at the “losing team” in disappointment. I stepped my way over to the locker and to my surprise, a couple of kids had found a broken goalie stick, and the floor was a mess with splinters. It looked as if a volcano had erupted in the left side of the tiny locker room. These kids swung it back and forth, trying to break it, but had no luck in doing so. It had no bottom part, and it looked more like a cricket bat by the time. I looked at it and I felt the need to break it. As I round up for my swing, everyone in the locker chanted, “Break it, Break it!” and with one swing, it broke in half.…
