Personal Narrative: My Trip To A Football Team
The setting was the year 2016. What I realized is to be careful about what you say to people because that could be the last time you ever talk to them again because you never know when they are going to be gone. I wish I can talk to my mom one time more than anything in the world. Miss you mom. This all started when she had gotten when she had a steroid shot in her back because it was bad then a few days later she began to have spots pop onto her back then we took her to the hospital because she was in so much pain. Then when we took her there they said to my dad she is going to have surgery on her back. After all of that had happened to figure it out she has had a really bad infection on her back then she was good for a couple of months. Then she started puking is was clear figurs …show more content…

Then a few more weeks later I have gotten a concussion at the football game against the pioneer panthers. Throughout that day I was a jerk to her and everyone and a few weeks passed, she began to go downhill and she was the greatest mom that I could have ever asked, for she taught me so much she thought me how to drive and to cook and she always told me to never trust a skinny chef she told me never to get in trouble and to let out all my aggression on the football field. She was in and out of hospitals for the longest time, she was in there whole summer and I had taken care of her I got to learn a few new things about my mom that I have never known like she was a crazy child when she was growing up, she tried some crazy things she told me some stories about her and my aunt Tammy sneaking out and they would go over to the neighbor's house and when they would come back home there would be my grandma smoking a cigarette and they knew what their butts were

When I was ten years old I tried out for my local travel soccer team. I did not expect to make it, but by some stroke of luck I did. I started playing and it was not what I was expecting. In the past I averaged a hat trick every game, but travel soccer was a lot different. I started playing defense, but that might be an overstatement, because I did not get a whole lot of minutes. I knew that if I wanted to play more I was going to have to put in more work outside of practice. I started practicing everyday switching from running, to foot skills, to agility training. I probably spent more time complaining about it and there were a few time that my parents had to push me to practice, but I knew that I had to put in the work.…

When I stood at the bottom I did not think I could make it. half way up, I knew that I could not make it. Now, standing at the top, I look behind me at the amazing challenge that I have just conquered. Not only is the hill at Eau Claire an infamous feat that every student must traverse, but it is also a metaphor for every hardship that has entered into my life. One hardship I have faced, was my sports injuries during high school. My junior year track season started off being the best experience i’ve had. Unfortunately, this time was cut short. I ripped a ligament in my leg ending my entire spring season. I was angry at the world asking, “why me”. However, I knew I still had a team depending on me. Day in, and day out, I would show up to practice…

It all started at ninth street with some friends of mine John and I started recruiting some people to come play football with us. I honestly didn’t know I had a pretty decent arm. I originally was going to start practicing to play wide receiver instead of quarterback. At the time Odell Beckham Jr. ( wide receiver for the New York Giants ) was extremely explosive and dynamic on offense. Seeing him blow up on offense made me want to try out for wide receiver. But somehow John convinced me to play quarterback.…

he bell rang and we race to our cars. My team and I very happy knowing we had a chance of being champions. The whole school behind us cheering us on. From City University To Hamilton Middle School Chris, Aaron, Terrell, and myself smiling from cheek to cheek. We got to Hamilton and we gear up. I threw my catcher bag over my shoulder and called for the team to line up. Coach Avent ad Coach Blake started prayer. After they looked up and said “ We been preparing for this day all year.” Knowing everything the team had been through the last season before, no one would have ever thought the Hamilton Wildcats would be in the City Champion Game. No one would've ever through the Hamilton Wildcats would’ve had the season we had. Only losing one game…

Last year, it was my first year when I work in the female soccer team from my old high school. This was a soccer team where I was a goalkeeper trainer. This team was the high school soccer team representing the local High school. The purpose for our team was to win all the games against other schools, another of our goals was to have fun and to stay active; my personal goal was to train the goalkeepers the best I can and make them better soccer players. The best reward we all get was the feeling of been the winning team, the feeling that we all get after realizing how hard work has paid off. That is always the best feeling, to win games. The best reward I get personally is just to know that I trained the goalkeeper the right way, and they had…

Station Camp was five yards from the end zone when our defense flattened the running back, sending the football to the hands of the tackler. Our defense scored on that play to win the game 26-20 in overtime. The tumultuous crowd became so loud, we couldn't hear each other on the field; but truthfully, we did not need to speak. Who we were spoke so loudly that we did not need to hear each other. Numerous predictions claimed we should have lost that game alongside our already fearful fans. After losing nineteen talented starters in the class above us, an immense void was left to fill by few seniors. So why did we keep playing? The answer is that the visceral integrity ingrained within us would never allow us cease believing in ourselves and let adversity control the outcome of the game.…

It was a very pleasant evening and I was at soccer practice at the South Barrington turf soccer fields. I loved to play soccer and I took it really seriously. Everything I do I go all out. There was no such thing as a second gear for me, I would always go 110 percent. When I was on the field, I could be looked at as a violent person and I would constantly get carded for rough play. During some of our matches I struck so much fear in my opponents they were afraid to guard me.…

Good Evening Mr. Forrest, this is Sean Anderson. I wanted to send this report involving the girl's basketball coach from Northeast Middle School. Me and Jason Collins were the officials at West Creek Middle School vs Northeast Middle School. The games started at 4:45. During the second game, which was the girl's basketball game, my partner Jason Collins made a ruling against Northeast in the 4th quarter. The girl's head coach did not like the ruling and venting her frustrations toward us. She screamed" her player was not there for the foul". While I was administering the free throws I heard her screaming and gave her the stop sign signal and told her ok that's enough. I didn't administer no technical foul even though she continue…

The statements above are true for my life; my life was about to change forever. This is the day I found out my mother had only six months to live, I was only 19 years old. I was picking my mother up from a routine follow-up appointment she had at Keesler Air force Base Hospital in Biloxi Mississippi, on the afternoon of 3 March 1997. I was walking up the steps of the hospital when I saw her walking out her face was pale I asked her if she was ok, her response was no. At this point in time everything went silent she asked me to sit down on the steps but I couldn’t I just wanted to know what was wrong. My mother while holding my hands then told me the results of the test and that she had liver cancer and it was untreatable. I was frozen not knowing what to say I just grab her and held her close and begun to cry. She told me to stop crying because she was going to need me to be strong for her and my brothers, that she wanted her last six months to be happy memories not sad ones.…
