Working in a hospital setting taking care of patients and utilizing my skills from school to provide the best care I can give. Once I graduate from pharmacy school there will be student loan debt and I will need to be able to pay it back. As a responsibly adult you must think about will this career be able to help with that debt. As a pharmacist, it’s income is greater than the debt that I will receive from schooling. This would give me the opportunities to have hands on experience with patients who are in the intensive care unit, oncology centers, diabetes centers, or the operating rooms. This is a fast pace environment; I will constantly be on my toes and alert. As a clinical pharmacist, I will supervise all the medications distributed by the pharmacy technicians, and overlook the orders doctors make, to check that the patient will have the full affect the medication and not have any severe complications. As far as the pay of a clinical pharmacist it can range from $110,000 or $150,000 a year depending on what company I work for. It needs to be larger than the debt I will be receive after I am done with all my schooling. In the end this job is what I’m passionate about and can’t wait to see what it
