I understood how crucial it is to get your message across to someone who needs help. The most difficult and probably one of the few interesting challenges that I experienced was counseling diabetic patients for being compliant with their medications. Furthermore, learning how to counter the arguments that a smoker presents when convincing them to quit brought out the person in me who wants to help people by addressing their utmost concerns.
The decision of getting residency training in USA and work as a doctor of medicine here, has a complex background. I have always been surrounded by the idea that I have to be more than who I am and training in one of the best health care system in the world is going to help me achieve my full potential. This country is full of opportunities for those, who want to explore, who have the potential to achieve and those who believe that even sky is not the limit.
