Animal Testing Essay
Ellen DeGeneres said “ If you want to test cosmetics, why do it on some poor animal who hasn’t done anything? They should use prisoners who have been convicted of murder or rape instead. So, rather than seeing if perfume irritates a bunny rabbit’s eyes, they should throw it in Charles Manson’s eyes and ask him if it hurts”. Animal testing is the worst thing you can do to an animal. We use animals as pets, companions, and best friends. Animals are even used to test products such as medicine, cosmetics, and perfumes. Animal testing should not occur because animals have a live just like us human beings have one.
Animal testing is really mean and dangerous to the animals. They test cosmetics, shampoos, conditioners, etc. Basically everything we used goes by them first. If they have a weird reaction to the stuff, they change the things they put in there. They are never fed water or the food animals actually eat. Another reason why animal testing should not occur is to use different techniques instead of using animals. Scientists are able to test on humans and then check their blood to observe if they have a strange reaction. Also, they want to use petri dishes that would give us better results than animals.

In conclusion, animal testing should not be done because it’s something wicked and inhumane to do to an animal. About 27,000 animals died because they had heart attacks from the drug Vioxx. Some drugs are very dangerous to some animals like Aspirin. We can see that Ellen DeGeneres what right because people in prison convicted with murder or rape should do that kind of testing instead of the poor

The first reason is that animal testing harms animals. For example, more than 100 million animals die every year due to chemical, drug, and food tests (Animal Testing 101). This is important information because that is a large amount of animals lost every year. Some of these things that people are testing animals on are not even necessary so animals could be dying for no good reason. Also, many animal tests are cruel procedures some include feeding dogs pesticides, forcing mice to inhale toxic fumes, and dripping corrosive liquid into rabbits’ eyes (Animal Testing 101). In addition, rabbit eyes are very sensitive and dripping chemicals in them can cause major damage and pain to the rabbit.…

Animal testing is wasteful, useless, and dangerous. The experiments that are done on these animals are gruesome. Bountiful amounts of people (about 62% in 2004 according to Heather Mason Kiefer) argue that animal testing is necessary in order to produce safe products. On the contrary, several studies have found these methods to be questionable. They lack accurate, safe results.…

The first reason why we shouldn’t have animal testing is because animals are getting hurt or abused. “Over 100 million animals are burned, crippled, poisoned, and abused in US labs every year.” The chemicals that the people are using are burning or other worse things to them. The chemicals that they use on the animals could hurt or kill them. Over half of side effects cannot be detected in…

The National Governors Association Center for Best Practices made up a set of educational standards called the Common Core State Standards in Suwanee, GA which dealt with math and english-language arts for grades k-12. They were “developed in collaboration with a variety of stakeholders including content experts, states, teachers, school administrators and parents. The standards establish clear and consistent goals for learning that will prepare America’s children for success in college and work”. They tell what the students need to learn, but aren’t there to show the teachers how to teach. The process took nearly a year, with people leading it from almost all 50 states, and even in different countries.…

Animal testing is rarely successful since animals have different physiologies than humans. There has been many studies that have shown inaccuracy and unsuccess in animal testing. Studies show, “90 percent of medications approved for human use after animal testing later proved ineffective or harmful to humans in clinical trials” (Stop Animal Testing) and also, “Animal-tested drugs have killed, disabled or harmed millions of people and lead to costly delays as well” (Stop Animal Testing). It is evident that animal testing lacks accuracy and has dangerous consequences, therefore it should no longer be…

Animal testing has been going on for a couple of years now. Scientists use animal testing as a form of “safe” testing. According to Humane Society International, animal testing is, “Procedures performed on living animals for purposes of research into the basic biology and diseases, assessing the effectiveness of new medicinal products, and testing the human health and/or environmental safety of consumer and industry products such as cosmetics, household cleaners, food additives, pharmaceuticals and industrial/agro-chemicals. (1)” Many companies use animal testing because it is easier, or more ethical, to…

Animal testing has always been a big issue around the world. Some people think that it is okay for animals to be tested on while others don’t. What even is animal testing? Animal testing is where scientists find new medications and test them on the animals before humans. Why might scientists test them on animals first? So, that if something goes wrong, only the animal would suffer and not a human. I am a critic for animal testing. I believe that animals have a purpose to the world just as much as humans do. Even if people don’t like rodents, that doesn’t mean we need to try and potentially kill them. Animals are very important to this world just like everyone else.…

They have a right to live peacefully and are not just subjects that should be tested on. Even though animals are a bit different from human, people cant kill them for their own sake. Scientists kill millions of animals in order to test if a product is safe for humans. It is not right and it is also not even accurate.…

The primary reason why animal testing should cease to exist is because it is inhumane to strip a helpless animal of its rights for the benefit of experimentation and research. "Animals have a basic moral right to respectful treatment . . .. This inherent value is not respected when animals are reduced to being mere tools in a scientific experiment.” (Lonestar) While animals cannot express themselves as humans can, they can feel, think, behave, and experience pain. Their inability to express themselves should not be taken advantage of.…

God has created this world such that there is a balance between the humans and non-humans and that they can exist together without complexity. But from when man has started developing he began to treat the non-humans or animals as his inferiors and has begun to give them the least respect. It is evident from history that he considered the beings with less reasoning ability as mediocre beings and made them to serve him. For example plants are for the purpose of serving animals and animals to serve humans.…

Animal testing has always been a dispute between people; some people think it’s morally wrong and some people think it helps with medical and scientific breakthroughs. Drugs that people use or cosmetics that are used could have been tested through animals before being stocked on shelves. About 800 animals are tested on before a drug is passed to clinical trials (“Is animal”). Many animals get tested on, but many like mice, rabbits, hamsters, monkeys, dogs, cats, pigs, and some other animals get tested on. Animals can be used to find new advances in medical treatment and check safety for products, but these animals that get tested on can go through pain and death. Animal testing is wrong and should be stopped because…
