The Importance Of EMT
My entire high school career, I've been sedulously working up to the moment I can finally say I am an EMT! EMT is one of the toughest curriculum on campus, we're the Marines. Most students don't have what it takes to be in such a challenging course, that’s why there are only fifteen of us. However, to stay enrolled in the course, we need an assessment grade of eighty or better. Pushing us to study nonstop to get the best grade possible. So, I feel if I can pass EMT, I can pass anything I set my mind to.
Band is an extracurricular activity, however it takes much commitment to be recognized as a member of The Mighty Ram Band. Band is a Summer/Fall activity that requires ample effort. During the summer we get up at around 7:00 am to be on the
practice field by at least 7:45. Because "to be on time is to be late and to be early is to be on time." My freshman year, there was about 100 band students in my class alone, but as years progressed these numbers declined. Now, we have an estimate about 30 seniors total. Not everyone has the dedication to get up and work long hours in the hot blazing sun. Being in The Mighty Ram Band was an extraordinary experience that has taught me how to be dedicated and perseverance to start what I ended.
