Journalism and language flow immensely well together, as being bilingual means there are more career opportunities, a variety of people to interact with, and traveling also becomes simpler once you have overseas contacts. I would love to continue learning French into year twelve and beyond, and having been advanced to Year 10 French means I'm already earning early SACE points, securing a successful career in my field of choice. However learning in a classroom compared to being in France, are two very different things. In France I would have more opportunities to test my language skills, as well as develop my pronunciation, cultural understanding and how to incorporate different parts of language into everyday speech, as well as being able to develop understanding on their fashion and cultural
