Why Did The Civil War Began
Why did the Civil War Begin?
Slavery was a major influence towards the beginning of the Civil War. Mostly because of the disagreements between the North and South on the idea of Slaves. Southern Slave States versus Northern Free States. Is it because of any major events during that time period or just the disagreement between the States worsening over time? I believe the Civil War, began because of the Mexican-American war, the Compromise of 1850, Fugitive Slave Law, and . Although many people believe it happened because of slavery in general, I believe they were caused by these events because of the influence they had on the Northern and Southern States over time.
The reason I believe the Mexican-American War aftermath lead to the Civil War
