However, I was uncertain how I would achieve both of my ambitions. When I discovered the Naval Nurse Officer program I knew this was an ideal opportunity. It wouldn't only enable me to pursue my career choice, but it would also permit me to aid the people who fight for America. For these reasons, I believe that I would be a conmpleat candidate for this position as I have the devotion to become a Naval Nurse officer, the qualities of a leader, and learn from my challenges. In my sophomore year, I was recognized for my outstanding achievements in school and …show more content…
The positions I held were as the flute section leader, the creative writing co-president, Member of the National Honors Society, section leader for vacation bible school, and debate captain. I received these positions due to my hard work and determination. As a result, I learned a lot of lessons from trials and errors. It taught me that not everything goes as planned, but you can't yield. Even if it seemed impossible I always searched for another solution in every situation. Another thing I learned was that I couldn't dwell on the mistakes I made. Instead of feeling down, I reflected on it and learned the lesson that could be gained. Due to my devotion to be a Naval Nurse officer, qualities of a leader, and learning much from my challenges I believe that I would be a great candidate for the position as a Naval Nurse officer. Being raised in a military environment I acknowledge it isn't an easy task. It is true dedication to our nation that allows them to work the way they do. For that, I am asking to be given a chance to serve the nation with my best abilities. I know multiple challenges will occur, but I will not permit them to bring me down. Instead, I will conquer them and let it turn me into a tougher being, so I can serve our nation and its
