I then plan to attend medical school and get licensed to be a physical therapist and continue working to achieve my goal. In five years, I would love to be working at Advanced Rehabilitation in Calhoun, Georgia so that I would be close to my family. I will definitely need to finish out my time at the University of Mississippi with a very good GPA, and continue to pursue my passion for the human body. I will need to apply to lots of different medical schools in order to ensure that I get in to at least one of them because they are very competitive. I will also need to pass the National Physical Therapist Examination in order to obtain my license to continue my pursuit of becoming a physical therapist like I have always wanted to be. A challenge that has held me back from fully achieving my goals thus far would be my very difficult first semester of my freshman year of college. I came to the University of Mississippi from a small town in Calhoun, Georgia. I did not know anyone when showed up to move in day. I was very concerned that I would not make friends and that I would have a miserable college experience. I had 8am classes on Monday through Friday, and I was not getting enough sleep. I also majored in Chemistry at first because I loved it in high school, and it turned out way more challenging than I expected and I ended up failing two classes and lost all of my confidence in myself. This semester I have overcome that hill and I am doing much better and have gained much of my confidence back. Right now to help myself achieve the goals I want to accomplish I need to start shadowing physical therapists, improve my resume and network with other people to help me find a job easier. It will be tough, but I am very determined to accomplish the goals I have set out to
