One of my long term goals in FCCLA has been to one day become a state officer. I believe I will make a great State Officer for many reasons.
For one, I am a creative person who enjoys thinking outside of the box. If I were to be on the officer team, I could contribute new ideas to make the 2018-2019 FCCLA year one of a kind.

Since early 2017, I have earned over 30 volunteer hours for concessions, event set ups, and have been featured in my town’s newspaper for raising $300 for the club.
I believe becoming a State Officer is the perfect opportunity for me to grow not just as leader, but as an individual. Being a State Officer will teach me things that can't be learned in class, such as how to be professional, responsible, and how to actively make a difference within my community.
Another reason I want to be a state officer is because I admire what they do. State Officers also get to meet all kinds of new people, including their fellow Officers, who inspire them to work hard and reach their goals. I want to meet these different kinds of people, and learn as much as I can from them.
Most of all, I want to challenge myself. I want to see just what I can accomplish when I put my mind to it. I hope you consider me for 2018-2019 state
