Why Is Animal Testing Illegal
Animal testing should be illegal. It is really badly harmful to the poor animals since they can be injured terribly and it can possibly kill them. Animal testing is also very, very cruel. I don’t think people understand how much pain the animal will go through when they are getting new products tested on them. I think, to sum it all up into 1 word, that word would be sickening. It is a despicable thing to do, even if you say “it is for scientific research”. How can people live with watching animals suffer under the torture of big needles, toxic cosmetics, toxic body creams, etc.? Animal testing is a bad business and it needs to stop!

One of the many terrible reasons for animal testing to be illegal is the fact that it is harmful. By putting the animals under the testing of new products, you are also putting the animals under the risk of fatality. If a product is harmful enough, it will kill them, or at the very least make them suffer a dreadful amount. When animals are used for testing, they are usually put in full body restraints to stop them from scratching or pawing at the product. This makes the animals very uncomfortable and in pain. I mean, how would you like to be dressed up like a Barbie doll, except full of toxic and painful cosmetics and creams?

When using animals for testing you are making the animal go through a lot of pain. The animal will need to brave through large injections and surgeries that probably don’t have as much anesthetics as it should have, making the animal go through quite a bit more pain than it should be going through. It is also forcing it to do a tremendous amount of things that it does not want to do, what if the animal doesn’t want to be tested on? Has anyone ever thought about that? Probably

Animal testing is bad science. Time and time again animal experiments show that it is wasting lives and resources. “Most animal experiments are not relevant to human health. Scientists never express their thoughts about testing cosmetics on animals. Nature surveyed a thousand biomedical scientists, over seventy percent of those scientists conduct experiments on animals. About ninety percent of those scientists felt that animal testing is important in scientific improvements but they also said that they are concerned about the well being of the animal. When they test them they try and use little as many animals as they can and they treat them with respect.…

Nowadays there are many companies that test their products on animals such as makeup and painkillers. Not many people pay attention to this fact, but in actuality they should. Excuses for companies using animals for testing are that they have similarities in their tissues and DNA. Though parts of the human body vs. an animal’s body may have similarities but people must keep in mind that we are two totally different species. Science shows that animals rarely serve as good models for the human body so why would we feel safe with the product anyways. The best thing for us to do is test out products on other humans so then we can get reliable and accurate results. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) stated that 92% of all drugs that are shown to be safe and effective in animal testing fail in human trials; from this information you can see that testing on animals isn't very reliable or safe for our safety and health. Also, it was said in multiple science journals that testing on animals would be a waste of time and life, both human and animal. Testing on animals is dangerous for both species.…

While the FDA encourages manufacturers to conduct whatever testing is necessary to ensure the safety of their products, it does not specifically require the use of animals. (FDA) The FDA actually encourages companies to consider alternatives before deciding that testing on animals is necessary. They advocate that research and testing for products use a maximum amount of useful scientific information and a minimal number of animals tested. When testing does occur, they advocate for the most humane methods available. The Food and Drug Administration supports the Animal Welfare Act and the Public Health Service Policy of Humane Care and Use of Laboratory Animals. If companies are not required by the FDA to test their products on animals, there is no reason that it should be a method that is resorted to for experimentation.…

Animal testing is cruel. In conclusion, it needs to be stopped. As previously stated, we are hurting animals when there are other ways to go about it. Animals are living, breathing creatures that have rights and should be protected. They don’t deserve to be hurt anymore than we do. For example, they can feel pain, and sadness just like we can, so in what way does it make it right to harm them for our own benefit. That makes us selfish and rude. Animal testing is cruel, and mean, and needs to come to an…

Animal testing has always been a dispute between people; some people think it’s morally wrong and some people think it helps with medical and scientific breakthroughs. Drugs that people use or cosmetics that are used could have been tested through animals before being stocked on shelves. About 800 animals are tested on before a drug is passed to clinical trials (“Is animal”). Many animals get tested on, but many like mice, rabbits, hamsters, monkeys, dogs, cats, pigs, and some other animals get tested on. Animals can be used to find new advances in medical treatment and check safety for products, but these animals that get tested on can go through pain and death. Animal testing is wrong and should be stopped because…

Numerous years ago, animal testing was started to help humans obtain information. The process of testing on animals is, quite possibly, one of the most disturbing experiments ever performed. Many cosmetics and personal care products are manufactured every year and put into the market after they have been tested on animals. Almost every product was tested at some stage in its development on an animal. These products go through a long and complex testing process that leaves millions of animals mutilated, burned, poisoned, and gassed in outmoded and unnecessary tests. From these different experiments, animals are often left with different diseases like Syphilis, Herpes, or AIDS. Manufacturers of these different products use the excuse that they are performing these tests to assure our safety for these products. The manufacturers want to make sure that humans are not in any amount of danger. But is going to this extreme necessary?…

This is not a joke! Animal testing is just plain out cruel and really bad for animals. the scientists that are doing all of this testing on animals are forcing animals to drink or eat what the “experiment” needs just by doing this process, animals go through complete torture, just to finish for that one experiment and to make sure that this product works and to be honest animal testing doesn't really work say doctor Dr.Elias, but here we are still dealing with this problem with testing on these poor helpless animals just to do this stupid nonsense experiment. Most people don't realize that animals receive the same vaccinations or the same drugs as humans do, but animals usually go through much more pain than any human would ever have to experience. Animal testing is just cruel and wrong and it needs to stop.…

Throughout the world more than 100 million of nonhuman animals are being tested on in laboratories. They are put in cages, used, then killed for no good reason. People and animals are similar but not the same. There are better more humane ways to test for products such as cosmetics, skin care, and medicine. Testing on animals who would not have the same symptoms or sides effects on humans could bring unwanted and unnecessary results when given to humans.…
