Animal testing doesn't improve human health. DR richard Klauser said we have cured mice of cancer for decades and it simply didn't work on humans. (steve conor and chris green) quoted “testing hiv vaccines on monkeys before they are tested on humans in fact doesn't work”. 92% of drugs tested on animals do not make it through phase one of a human clinical trial. One of the largest amount of funding animal testing is from members of your community the citizens may or may not know there donating to animal testing. There are many ways animal testing gets funded, such as taxes, charity donations, lottery tickets, and consumer products. The first reason is that animal testing harms animals. For example, more than 100 million animals die every year due to chemical, drug, and food tests (Animal Testing 101). This is important information because that is a large amount of animals lost every year. Some of these things that people are testing animals on are not even necessary so animals could be dying for no good reason. Also, many animal tests are cruel procedures some include feeding dogs pesticides, forcing mice to inhale toxic fumes, and dripping corrosive liquid into rabbits’ eyes (Animal Testing 101). In addition, rabbit eyes are very sensitive and dripping chemicals in them can cause major damage and pain to the rabbit.…

The first reason why we shouldn’t have animal testing is because animals are getting hurt or abused. “Over 100 million animals are burned, crippled, poisoned, and abused in US labs every year.” The chemicals that the people are using are burning or other worse things to them. The chemicals that they use on the animals could hurt or kill them. Over half of side effects cannot be detected in…

In animal testing, countless animals are experimented on and then killed after their use is up. Some are injured and will still live the remainder of their life in captivity. The doctors will not do anything to help the animals that are in pain that happen to be the reason because of them. It is the aspect of animals testing that many view as a major negative against the practice, as it seems that the animal died in vain because no direct benefit to humans occurred. Even though animals and humans have many things in common like how we both have the same organ system, there are also many things that are different between animals and humans. Many animals cannot handle or take the same medication as humans, most the surgeries that are operated on animals are just too strong for an animal to take so they end up dying or sick for the rest of their lives. (Animal Testing…

Animal testing has always been a dispute between people; some people think it’s morally wrong and some people think it helps with medical and scientific breakthroughs. Drugs that people use or cosmetics that are used could have been tested through animals before being stocked on shelves. About 800 animals are tested on before a drug is passed to clinical trials (“Is animal”). Many animals get tested on, but many like mice, rabbits, hamsters, monkeys, dogs, cats, pigs, and some other animals get tested on. Animals can be used to find new advances in medical treatment and check safety for products, but these animals that get tested on can go through pain and death. Animal testing is wrong and should be stopped because…

. at they shouldn’t stop animal testing because it helped people cure and see what the illness is going to the animal’s body and try to cure it. Even though people say that animals die but that is because we don’t have other organism to test on unless if they want them to test on humans. If they tested on humans they would probably die and they would be in trouble .They would save millions of lives if it was still going if it wasn’t then more than millions would probably kick the bucket in other words they would die. Animal testing has been used for centuries and of it wasn’t for our ancestors or the greek philosopher we wouldn’t have animal testing to help us and have medicine.…

Others might say that animal testing is good because we can find cures for some of the terrible diseases that live here. It is more true that only 2% of the cures actually works. Also, that 2% has a chance to hurt people also. But it is true that some of the cures such as, lung cancer, birth defects, and spinal cord injuries. But if you are going to do animal testing and let it continue you should use more common animals such as rats, mice, and maybe ducks but not monkeys and other more endangered…

In addition, while many see animal testing as a valuable way to spend taxpayer’s money due to it providing helpful information toward human health, it is simply not true. Animal experimentation has been proven to be economically deficient, too much for too little. For example, PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals), emphasizes that every year, “The U.S, animal experimentation gobbles up billions of dollars”. This is essentially wasted money to find “new cures” for many diseases. With all the funds being used on medical research by animal experimentation, why is the US ranked 49th for life expectancy? With all the money being used to experiment, wouldn’t you think we would be ranked higher? Too much money is being spent on torturing…
