Why People Judge

Assuming makes an ass out of you and me. The people who assume things are normally the people that are narrow minded and think that everyone should be a certain way, which is a lot like the people of Osage, Iowa. People everywhere are entitled to their opinion yes but when that opinion is wrong and they start to spread fake rumors which come back to harm the person that they are talking about it making it something that should not be aloud. In this essay I will talk about why people should not judge a book by its cover and how people should not be judged by the group of people they are around. The many people who have the problem of getting judged are the people who grew up in families that have little to no money and are fighting everyday
Most of the time it's how they were raised and where they grew up. Where they grew up could have a huge impact on how they view another person. If they grow up in small town Iowa with little to no diversity in the town itself then they could be some of the most judgemental white supremacists the world has ever seen but if they grew up in a big city they would be a little less judgemental because they were raised in a different situation with lots of diversity in the population. If a kid is black and walks with a limp and sags his pants is he really any different then a black kid who has grown up in a small town and wears nice clothes and acts as white as could be? They could be the same kid in ways that they are just trying to fit into where they live. In Osage, Iowa we don't have to worry about that as much as we have kids that dress in all black and is kind of rebellious and doesn't like to do all of his or her homework. Some of these kids get put into on major category by most school employees and it's one that could put a person's future into a hole really fast. These kids get labeled as potheads in Osage because the people of Osage think that anyone who has grown up with little money is a bad kid and is always doing something that could get them in
